How do I charge, and how much does it cost?

You can charge at a Tesla super charger ( charging cost is on you) and this is the fastest way to charge if you are time bound( 60 minutes ~80% charge) . The cost of charging about 200 miles at supercharger rate of $0.28 per KWh is $15 approximately. Please note tesla charges idling fees at super chargers , I can give you a reminder call or text as a courtesy ( this may not be possible at all times but will do my best ) I get notification texts when charging is nearing completion but it’s up to you to stay close by and not incur any charges. You will be responsible for the idling fees if any incurred. There are several other charging networks ( PlugShare) but are slower . I will provide the charging cable and adapter ( located in the back trunk) for standard plugs so you can easily charge at home or hotel/parking lot.

Do I return the car fully charged?

No, but please don’t return at 0% or 0 miles as you might run out of battery and the battery life is impacted in the long run . It’s recommended to use the Tesla navigation in the car as it will route you to your destination keeping the charge and miles in mind and will reroute to a super charger on the way if required. Please return the car with at least 60- 65 miles if returning at the Newark airport or 50 miles at host location within 20 miles of central NJ.

How much charge will the car have on pick up?

Expect the car to be charged between 200- 210 miles when picked up if delivery within 20 miles of central NJ. If picking up from the Newark airport , expect the car to display about 190- 200 miles of charge considering the commute to the airport.

How clean should the car be when i return the car?

We take great care to provide you a completely clean , disinfected and sanitized car, especially in times like these (covid -19). Hence we hope you can take care and love our cars like we do. We expect minimum dust, dirt and wear on return however please throw out any trash, dust out sand and mud if possible. Any deep cleaning anticipated will be charged back to you as 'Cleaning Fee'. Smoking is strictly not allowed in the car , if detected will be charged $250 dollars. We also do NOT allow pets in all our cars but if you really need to take along your furry friend, any pet hair cleaning will be charged back to you as 'Cleaning Fee'. (varying between $150 - $250 dollars )We really appreciate and thank you for understanding.
