Parking details

The parking lot is open every day from 7 am to 10 pm. Tell the gate attendant you are here to visit me. Once you pass the security gate, the visitor lot is located immediately to the left of the gatehouse. If you go up to ramp, you will have gone too far. Once you turn left, follow the road ahead and to the right. The car will be located near the electric chargers. If you can't find the car, you can reach me at 646-584-3179. The vehicle size is that of a mid-size sedan, and it rides lower to the roadway due to the performance upgrade. Enjoy the ride, but please take care as if it were your own vehicle. Take care of the rims when parking or approaching the curb.

Guidelines

***NOTE: The rental of this car is subject to additional driver verification procedures. Please keep that in mind when booking this car. We have provided a list of guidelines below we expect our guests to follow on their rental.*** New users please send me message on Turo or contact me at 646-584-3179 with dates needed to arrange price pricing and if you need delivery, otherwise the car is usually located along the Gold Coast. This vehicle is very special and unique. It is fully loaded and has everything you could ever ask for in a luxury electric vehicle. We ask that you treat the car the same way you would like someone to treat your own car, therefore please observe the following guidance. 1) Please no eating inside and try your best to keep the vehicle as clean as when you received it. If anything is spilled in the car, you'll be charged to do an interior detail on the car. 2) Please don't put anything in the car that would leave a smell or residue. My family has been using the frunk for those items and that tends to be quite effective. 3) Both my wife and I are allergic to pet hair so please no pets. A $250 fee is incurred for having pets in the car. 4) There is absolutely no smoking, eating or otherwise strong scents permitted inside the car. A $250 fee is incurred for cleaning/odorizing the car. 5) Car wash is not required, but excessive dirt inside or outside will incur a charge (refer to extras). If you choose to use a car wash, please only use a touchless car wash. 6) Please watch out about scratching the leather in the car (seats and elsewhere). The leather can normally be repaired, but it's usually a $200 or more charge to fix it. 7) Wheel curbing/rash will result in significant repair costs which you are responsible. If damage is repairable, the cost to repair each wheel rim is $500, otherwise, full replacement will cost $1,000. If you damage the tire, the cost to replace each tire is $500 to replace. Please make me aware of any curb damage at the time of pickup and return. 8) As far the electric charge, we will provide the vehicle with at least 200 miles of charge. It is fine to bring the vehicle back at same charge level. There may be fee to charge after your trip if you bring back the vehicle with a much lower charge level. *Do not charge car beyond 90% of its full capacity (~265 miles). Try to keep the battery charged above 30% of its full capacity (~90 miles)* Return the car with at least the same charge as you received it. Returning the car with a less than charge you picked up the vehicle will incur a fee of up to $20. Returning the car with VERY low charge (50 miles) will incur a $100 convenience fee at minimum (more if the vehicle needs to be towed). There are Supercharger sites along the Gold Coast and Paramus, NJ. Additionally, please note that supercharging idle fees apply at public Supercharger stations once the charge level approaches the preset level. Avoid any fees by keeping track of the remaining time indicated on the dash upon the start of the supercharging session. 9) Please note the car is equipped with a forward-looking camera to record traffic and road conditions in the front of the car. This is being done for the safety of the car and for your protection should anything occur during your rental. Per Turo’s policy, the guest may not tamper with, disable, or remove any devices or accessories from the car. If a guest tampers with, disables, or removes a device or accessory, Turo, at its discretion, will take proper actions, which may include but not limited to account suspension, referral of guest to law enforcement, and/or charging guest up to $5,000 in fees. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. 10) If for any reason you need to return the car late, communicate in advance so that we can work it out based on the circumstances.   • What if I am interested in longer distance trips, such as to Washington, D.C., Philadelphia or Boston?

    We are happy to provide you with arrangements upon reviewing the itinerary and individual requirements.

  • Do you provide rides to and from the airport or just rides around town?

    Yes! If you are located in the New Jersey or Connecticut area and would like to be picked up or dropped off at one of the area airports, we would be happy to help you with at least 1 day advance notice.

  • Can I use the car for a photo or video shoot?

    Yes! We love working with production companies. In fact, the car is conveniently located across from lower Manhattan where great photo shoots can be done against the world-famous NYC skyline.

  • What if I am interested in riding in the vehicle but would rather not drive or cannot drive?

    You asked, we provide. Such requests are considered on a case by case basis.

  • I am interested in one day rentals. Is this something you offer?

    Yes! At this time the only location where this is offered is Edgewater, NJ. Please contact us for details 646-584-3179.

  • Can I have additional drivers on my trip?

    While there is no additional charge for adding drivers on your trip, additional drivers must have their own Turo account and get approved before the start of the reservation to drive on the trip. An additional driver is not permitted to pick up or to return the vehicle. You are financially responsible for all costs related to the trip.   • How full does the battery need to be when I return the car?

    Please return the car with at least 200 miles of charge or the charge level you picked up the car. You may also elect to prepay for the "EV Recharge" option, in which case you only need to return the car with a 50 mile charge.

  • Can I eat or smoke in the car?

    Smoking or eating in the car is NOT allowed. A cleaning fee of $250 will be assessed for smoke and pungent smells to cover detailing charges.

  • If I scrape the wheels on the curb, how much is the repair?

    Should you get curb rash on one of the rims, the cost to repair each wheel is $500. If you damage the tire, tires are approximately $500 to replace. Please take note of any curb damage at the time of pick up and return.

  • How much mileage range does the car have?

    The car is rated at 310 miles in ideal driving conditions. Everyday range varies based on driving habits, load and weather factors. The car battery charge should be kept between between 30% (60 miles) and 90% (270 miles) of charge for everyday driving and long term battery life.
