GUIDELINE IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE GUIDELINES BELOW SO YOU ARE FULLY AWARE OF THE POLICIES ⚠️To ensure a smooth transition and avoid a no-show fee, please upload the following mandatory items to “trip photos” on TURO app: 🔴 1. A photo of your driver license.🪪 🔴 2. A photo of yourself holding your license. 🔑 In order to receive the car key, please make sure your driver license information matches with the information provided on the app (such as name and date of birth). 🚫🐾 NO pets in the car ($150 cleaning fee). 🚭🚭 🚭 No smoking or vaping in the car ($250 smoking violation fee). Don't try to cover smell with any fragrance. Just smoke outside please. ⚠️💦 CLEANLINESS. I always make sure that the car is cleaned before each rental. All I ask is that you return the vehicle in the same condition you picked it up in. ⛽️ FULL TANK OF GAS. To avoid gas charges through TURO please return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it was delivered to you with. TURO will add $10 service fee on top off gas cost. ⏰ PLEASE BE ON TIME. If you would like to extend you trip, I will try my best to accommodate you before your trip ends. Please note: this car is equipped with a security device that may collect driving data. This may include vehicle location, mileage, driving behavior, and time driven. This information may be shared with third parties for vehicle recovery or insurance purposes.

Beautiful car, lovely handling, and it was picked up and dropped off to me very promptly.

The host was on time for drop off, relatively quick to respond to messages, and the car was clean. My only small issue is that in the description, the host said that they would try to be accommodating if we needed to extend the trip. Our 8pm flight was delayed until midnight and we just wanted to add another hour to the rental, but the host wanted to charge us another entire day to extend for an hour. So we returned it on time and were basically stuck in the airport for an additional 4 hours.
Also, there is something strange going on with the car wash/cleaning package. We took the car to get it washed and vacuum the inside and I asked the host for the details about the subscription/pass for cleaning. Their response told me not to tell the company that the car we were washing was a rental. I’m not sure what the situation is here but I did not feel comfortable lying to a business on their behalf.

Regarding your concern about extending the trip for an hour, Turo’s policy requires a minimum extension of 24 hours for any trip changes. Unfortunately, I cannot override this policy, so the situation was not within my control.
As for the car wash, I advised you not to mention that the car was a rental because some car wash services might refuse to provide their service for rental vehicles. My suggestion was aimed at ensuring your convenience and avoiding any potential inconvenience for you.
