Description

Admit it, you think you need an SUV for your next ski trip in Colorado, but I am here to tell you that this long range, all-wheel drive Tesla Model 3 with a Yakima ski rack* is your ticket to powder paradise. Easily fit 4 skiers and all your gear in this blacked-out beast. With the long range, you can go from the airport to skiing in Summit County and back without needing a charge. Or relax and stop and charge at the Supercharger in Silverthorne, near the airport, or in Idaho Springs. Named Otto, this Tesla features a beautiful white interior and over 300 miles of range. I call him "Otto" because he also has enhanced autopilot, Tesla's advanced driving aid. Otto now sports full window tinting on all windows and a sweet chrome-delete for that murdered-out look. This makes Otto just a little different and cooler than all the other Model 3s out there. Otto also comes with the premium upgrades package, heated seats in all five positions, upgraded white interior, aero wheels for the best range possible, enhanced autopilot, all weather floor mats, and all wheel drive for conquering every road Colorado can throw at you. It gets the equivalent of 116 mpg per the EPA, though I've done considerably better. Oh yeah, and it'll do 0-60 mph in about 4.4 seconds, making it one of the quickest cars you're likely to drive. Efficient, fun, fast, and practical. This car is fantastic all year round in all conditions. If you end up buying a Tesla, please consider using my referral code for free Supercharger miles: http://ts.la/michael9518. Also, check out all our vehicles at www.itselectricrentals.com and on Instagram @itselectricrentals.com. * Ski rack is an additional charge in the Extras section. Do not ever let the vehicle's state of charge drop below 10%. The vehicle uses battery power even when idle (like when it is parked overnight). For lists and maps of chargers, please visit tesla.com/supercharger and plugshare.com. You will be required to show proof of insurance, including full coverage (not just liability) in order to rent this vehicle. Thank you for understanding. Finally, absolutely no smoking anything or vaping in or near the vehicle! We will charge the maximum cleaning fee possible if we can smell any tobacco or marijuana, even if it's just from transporting it.

Parking details

You can park anywhere downtown, though you will likely have to pay for it.

Guidelines

No smoking (seriously, absolutely no smoking). Pets not preferred, but you can talk to me. Return it in the same condition as when you picked it up. And have fun!! Do not ever let the vehicle's state of charge drop below 10%. The vehicle uses battery power even when idle (like when it is parked overnight). For lists and maps of chargers, please visit tesla.com/supercharger and plugshare.com.

Faqs

  • Do I need to return the car with a "full tank?"

Unless you select the Prepaid EV Recharge option, you will be charged $10 for 0% to 50% charge at return or $20 for 51% to 80%.

  • How far can I drive this thing?

It has about 300 miles of range on a full charge. Plus, Tesla has Superchargers all over the country, including near DIA, at Park Meadows mall, in Boulder, Fort Collins, Silverthorne, Glenwood Springs, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, and more in Colorado alone. I've never run out of a charge in any of my Teslas.

  • How do I "fuel" this car?

Otto is pure electric, so you need to charge it. No gas at all. Fortunately, Tesla has thousands of Superchargers around the country. Plus, you can charge at any of the many public charging stations around the country (including here in Denver), or even using a regular 110v outlet (though 110v is very slow). Do not ever let the vehicle's state of charge drop below 10%. The vehicle uses battery power even when idle (like when it is parked overnight). For lists and maps of chargers, please visit tesla.com/supercharger and plugshare.com.

Michael was very easy to work with and even accommodated my last minute rental. The car, “Otto”, was a true blast to drive. You won’t regret taking this car for a spin!

Communication was fast and helpful and the Tesla rode perfectly! Truly an excellent car and fun to drive. Colorado threw heavy snowfall at it for the first couple of days and it managed perfectly. Michael is a great host and answered any questions I had quickly and clearly, would definitely recommend!
