✈️ FREE DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT P/U & RETURN (from 6:00AM-9:00PM with adequate communication*) OR 🚘CONTACTLESS PICKUP FROM AIRPORT - DELIVERED WITH FULL TANK & FULL CHARGE! 🪣INTERIOR FULLY DISINFECTED PRIOR TO DELIVERY🧽 With a 0-60 time of 7.5 seconds, the Volt has plenty of power to get you effortlessly through Denver traffic and with the torque of an all electric drive train, getting up and down any of Colorado’s winding mountain roads is no problem at all. Worried about running out of battery or where to charge? With the 1.5L four cylinder “range extender” gas engine, this car can be driven like any other car and has up to 400 miles of range with a full charge and tank of gas. No need to find a charging station unless you just want to enjoy more smooth gas-free electric driving beyond the 40-60 miles you’ll have at no extra charge and there’s NO NEED to return it with a full battery. Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and a solid feel due to the centrally located 450 lb battery and no transmission shifts also makes this an extremely comfortable and smooth driving experience. For the winter months, car is also equipped with snow tires for safer driving and Colorado high country compliance. Please check out the FAQs and guidelines for renting for more information regarding vehicle features and rental rules. ** Vehicle MUST NOT be taken out of the state of Colorado during rental without informing us BEFORE such trip begins. Extra long trips taken without sufficient rest are extremely dangerous and may result in accidents. We reserve the right to know how far you intend to drive our vehicle and how much time you intend to devote for recuperation. We rigorously maintain this vehicle to keep its operation dependable, all fluids, tire depth and air pressure is checked before every rental and all scheduled maintenance, recalls and repairs are handled in a timely fashion. To further keep you safe, the car is also fully cleaned and disinfected prior to delivery in accordance with Turo’s guidelines as adopted from CDC recommendations. For convenience and to get you on the road quicker, we have two Denver International Airport delivery options: 1) free rideshare off airport grounds to our location 10 mins away where the actual vehicle transaction takes place, or 2) a contactless self pickup in the West Economy Parking Lot (Only option from 9:00PM-6:00AM or on one day rentals). Detailed directions are provided in either case and either option is free to you*** Other pick up options include free pick up at our location**** or free custom delivery/pickup within 5 miles of our address. Pickups and dropoffs after hours or on one day rentals are ONLY contactless. Please make sure to keep vehicle clean and smoke free during your rental to avoid any extra cleaning charges. Also, even though the use of cannabis is legal in Colorado for medical and recreational use it is NOT permitted in this vehicle. Use of this vehicle is forbidden while under the influence of THC in any form as well as alcohol – driving while impaired is of course illegal and the legal penalties extremely harsh. Even if not smoked in the vehicle, marijuana products tend to be especially pungent and the odor is very difficult to remove resulting in the possibility of our next renter after you being unhappy and leaving unsavory reviews which can severely hurt our business. * Although we will track your flight and pick you up on time from the airport, you MUST adequately communicate via Turo messenger or text message EXACTLY when the return to the airport will be (between the hours of 6AM and 9PM). If this information has not been furnished, you may need to secure your own transportation back to the airport at your own expense. Pickups or dropoffs after hours are ONLY contactless. *** Denver International Airport now charges a surcharge for vehicles picked up at the airport. None of the fee goes to vehicle owners or Turo. **** Please note, if you choose to pick up at our location you cannot change at the last moment or ask us to come pick you up. We have to make arrangements to deliver a vehicle to you and it’s REALLY HARD to do that on short notice. Please carefully select the desired option (PICKUP & RETURN LOCATION) to obtain the vehicle before you book :-)

Guidelines

🚭 No smoking or vaping in the car (tobacco or marijuana). If the car smells like marijuana post trip, we WILL charge a cleaning fee. 🚯 Please return car interior without any trash or personal belongings left in it - we do not require you to vacuum or clean UNLESS you’ve spilled, stained or really tracked in a lot of dirt/mud/sand. A good rule of thumb is to return it like you would if borrowing your friend’s car - if you don’t like your friends and leave a lot of crumbs, chip bags, candy wrappers, old parking receipts, luggage tags and shoe dirt on the dash, center console and door panels then PLEASE purchase the “Post-Trip Cleaning” extra :-) 🚗 Feel free to use toll roads, however be aware that we will submit any charges for reimbursement after we receive the statement back to you and that Turo charges a small administrative fee to process it. ⛰ No off-road driving or extended time off pavement (this vehicle’s suspension and tires were not designed to withstand sustained off pavement driving conditions). Also, off-road driving presents a greater potential for damage to the vehicle’s undercarriage, underbody shields, exhaust system and painted surfaces. 🚦Do not abuse the car. Excessive speeds, harsh braking and rapid accelerations can damage the vehicle making it less reliable and costly for us to maintain. 🛑 Vehicle MUST NOT be taken out of the state of Colorado during rental without informing us BEFORE such trip begins. Extra long trips taken without sufficient rest are extremely dangerous and may result in accidents. We reserve the right to know how far you intend to drive our vehicle and how much time you intend to devote for recuperation.

Faqs

  • How do I charge this vehicle?

The charging port is located on the drivers side very close to the side mirror, push the cover in to allow the door to open. While charging successfully a green light will blink in the middle of the front dashboard, light will stay solid when charge is complete. Look for a level 2 - J1772 charging station (level one works too, just takes longer). The one nearest my house charges .03/minute and can fully charge this car in 3-4 hours (so 50-60 miles of range for approximately $5.50) Please go to CHARGEPOINT.COM for a complete list of every charging station in the state.

  • Can I pick between EV and Fuel modes while driving?

Yes, unless you’ve already used up all your stored battery charge of course. On the center console just below the gear selector is a “mode” button which allows you choose normal, sport, mountain or hold (selection displays on main screen just under speedometer). Hold mode will save your battery and uses the gas engine to provide electricity. I usually use EV mode in the city for stop and go and hold mode for highway where I can get better mileage.

  • How is this car different from any other “hybrid”?

Most hybrids are primarily a gas engine car being helped out by an electric motor for better fuel economy. This car is different because the electric motor actually propels the car at all times - the gas engine is not actually connected to the drivetrain at all. The gas engine in this car is termed a “range extender” and functions only to produce more electricity when the battery is depleted or in hold mode. Also, the engine helps out with heating and regulation of other vehicle functions, so it may activate at other times as well.

  • How can I use the information center and Apple Car Play?

Please visit https://youtu.be/u3trY7S4RK0 for this. This gentleman covers all of this much better than I could here AND with visuals.

  • How many people can fit into this vehicle? Is it ok for larger individuals?

There are 5 sets of seatbelts HOWEVER the center seat in the back is not comfortable and I only recommend it for smaller people and short trips. Additionally, I have found that all of the back seats are not comfortable for individuals over 6’3”.

  • What is that button/lever behind my left hand on the steering wheel?

This is a manual control for increased regenerative braking and can be used to slow the vehicle down as well as add a bit of juice to the battery. On vehicles with electric motors, energy from the battery makes the motor propel the car. When no energy is being applied, the motor can also give a little bit of that energy back. This is called regenerative braking because the effect also creates some resistance and slows the vehicle down as well. This effect comes into play when the vehicle coasts, the regular friction brakes are applied or at a greater rate when using this manual control.

  • What is the dash cam for?

I use it routinely when I drive so I leave it in the car for my renters as well. If an accident were to occur, it can be referenced by either pulling the SD card or logging into with a smart phone.

  • Where is the registration, proof of insurance and Turo Incidence Card in this vehicle?

These documents are located in the glove compartment of this vehicle.

  • What would cause us to charge a cleaning fee?

    1. If the car smells like cannabis or smoke - we will leave the windows rolled down for 3-5 hours (if possible) and if we have to do more to get rid of the odor we will petition Turo for a charge. 2. Trash left in car unnecessarily or spills. We vacuum, clean and disinfect the vehicle for EVERY trip, but if we have to hunt into every crevice for candy wrappers, coins, cans, cups, chip bags, etc... OR wipe up spills that should have respectfully been handled already by the renter we will petition Turo for a cleaning charge. 3. Mud, dirt or sand left all over the floor mats, seats (backs too), door trims, door panels or even the dashboard as some seem to like to put their feet up with their filthy shoes still on. If we have to take extra time to clean this, we will petition Turo for a cleaning charge.
