How much does it cost to charge?
Charging costs can differ between locations. However, Tesla superchargers charge by the kilowatt-hour(kWh) and the cost ranges anywhere between free to around $0.28 per kWh. Please be sure to move the vehicle from the charging stall once complete in order to avoid idling fees. Supercharging costs and idling fees are billed directly to the host and will be passed onto the renter after the trip is complete. Non-Tesla charging stations range in cost and are billed directly to the renter. Go here for more information about using superchargers https://www.tesla.com/support/supercharging
How long does it take to charge?
Charging rates will differ between locations. However, at Tesla superchargers, it generally takes about 30-45 minutes to charge from 10% up to 90%. From 90% to 100% the rate slows dramatically and isn't recommended unless you're going on a long road trip. Non-Tesla charging stations are generally slower. Go here for more information about using superchargers https://www.tesla.com/support/supercharging
How do I locate charging stations?
Tesla superchargers can be found on the console of the car. These are typically located in and around cities and are often placed near other amenities(i.e restaurants, things to do, grocery stores, etc...). The Plug Share app will also help you identify non-Tesla charging stations near you. These are far more abundant and can be found in most locations. It's a good idea to identify charging locations and to make a plan for charging the car before going on a long road trip. Go here for more information about using superchargers https://www.tesla.com/support/supercharging
Does the car drive itself?
Sort of... autopilot is by far the most advanced driver assistance system on the road today. It will do things like change lanes on the highway, pass slower drivers, stop at stop signs/red lights, and navigate highway overpasses. However, it is not without limitations and it is still very important to pay attention while it is engaged. Go here for more information about Tesla autopilot https://www.tesla.com/support/autopilot
Is autopilot safe?
Yes, absolutely. However, it is still very important to pay attention while it is engaged. Go here for more information about Tesla autopilot https://www.tesla.com/support/autopilot

Ian is the man! I've been a host and renter on Turo since 2014 and Ian and his vehicle may have been my best experience yet! Highly highly recommended car, if you've ever driven a Tesla, this performance model will blow your mind. If you haven't ever driven a Tesla, you're about to be conflicted on the whole auto industry and its trajectory. Ian, thank you again!!
