If you need to add another driver, please do so in advance as it’s against Turo policy to drive a car without authorization (please remember insurance will cover ONLY approved drivers).   • How to open a gas tank (fuel door)?

    Look at the floor (driver seat), and you'll see the pull-latch to open the fuel door.

  • What do I do about bridge/tolls?

    My cars are connected to FasTrack, which allows you to drive right through the toll, and after your trip, I will request reimbursement for the toll(s) you passed via the Turo app. You will pay the same amount for a toll with NO extra fees (excluding a few cents for Turo credit card processing fees that they charge by default per their policy).

  • Do I have to wash the car before returning?

    Per Turo's policy, the car must be returned in the same condition as it was received (interior and exterior). Pick extra "post-trip cleaning" if you don't want to do it yourself and we'll take care of it for you!

  • Can I smoke in the vehicle?

    Absolutely NOT. Per Turo's policy, you cannot smoke in or near the vehicle on the entire marketplace. That includes smoking, vaping, etc. Turo can fine you for up to $250 and you don't want to pay those fees.

  • Do I have to refuel before returning the car?

    Rules are simple. You can pick "pre-paid fuel" when you book your trip and wouldn't need to worry about refueling or bringing it back with the same full tank of gas. If you don't have time to refuel - don't worry, we can get it done for you. We'll request reimbursement and you'll pay what we pay at the pump plus a $10 Turo convenience fee, which they charge by default per their policy.

  • Can I park my car while I rent yours?

    Sure, there is plenty of free street parking available right by my house.

  • What if I'm running late or need the car earlier?

    Life can get busy and I know that. Please click Trip Details, request a change to your trip and if my car is available you can adjust your trip to your preference.

  • Can I bring my pet?

    We LOVE pets, which is why the Pet fee is FREE. FREE. FREE. YES, you heard it right! If you don't want to deal with post-trip cleaning, pet hair, etc please pick the $49 cleaning for your trip, and we'll take care of it for you. Please keep in mind that it won't cover any stains or interior damages.

  • What fuel I should use when refueling?

    Regular gas/87-octane will work just fine for this car.

  • Can I book your car if I go offroad or racing?

    Absolutely NOT. My cars cannot participate in any offroad/racing events. My 4x4 Jeep is capable of going offroad but we do NOT allow our guests to test the limits of my vehicles. You must follow only serviced roads. Any physical/mechanical damages will be at the guest’s expense. We service our cars at a reputable chain shop that provides detailed inspection of every oil change (every 3k miles). In the same way, if you do burnouts, donuts, and any car components (including tires) get abused you’ll be responsible for the replacement. We want you to enjoy our cars but we will never allow anyone to abuse them.

Liudmila was quick on communications. Pick-up and Drop-off at the airport were seemless. Liudmila had to change the car we had initally rented from her the day before our trip and the process was super easy for us. She handled everything. The only downside was that the car has clearly seen better days and is nearing the end of its life. It got us from point A to point B, but I probably would not rent this particular car again.

Kaitlyn, I do believe you missed the point. You cannot get a brand new car for $27/day and there is ZERO mechanical issues, new tires and it just cleared dealership inspection with flying colors! We did went above and beyond on our service but if you'd like to get luxury vehicle - you have to rent one and pay 3-5x times more! As simple as that.

Loved my experience with Liudmila and her Kia Rio. It rained one of the days I was in Oakland and I felt very safe in the car, which is huge because driving in the rain isn't my favourite. The tires didn't slip once and everything felt very secure. The car was received clean inside and outside and there was a charger in the car for my phone, plus a phone mount and hand sanitizer. So helpful! She was also kindly flexible about my pickup being an hour later and drop off being an hour earlier. The only thing I'd say is that the air freshener in the car was really strong and I had to put it in the back so it didn't make me sick. Otherwise a perfect experience!
