For those who are new to electric cars, charging is made easy for you; prepay for charging and have access to unlimited charging even if the price exceeds the prepaid amount. Most charging at a Tesla supercharger is less than 20 minutes and there are over 35,000 chargers available; you will have NO problem finding chargers. Just type your destination in on the screen, and the car will tell you when and where to charge IF needed AUTOMATICALLY. The vehicle is equipped with Autopilot and the $12,000 FSD computer (Full-self driving computer) paid for in full but it’s important to note the vehicle does NOT drive itself and you are responsible for everything the car does as the driver. The car will handle most freeway driving with little or no intervention needed, including taking off and on ramps, lane changes, stop/go for traffic, staying in the lane, etc. For further information, please see Tesla's website at the link listed in the FAQs. To be clear: While on Autopilot, you must remain ready to take over at any time, and Tesla states that you must keep your hands on the wheel and remain attentive while driving the vehicle. Those interested in speed, please be careful! Tesla’s second fastest SUV, the 2022 Tesla Model 3 long range does a 0-60 in just 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph BUT I do not suggest going faster than the posted speed limit, and I ask you place your personal safety above all else. Obviously, care for the car, but it’s more important that you are safe! Speaking of safety, all Teslas are the safest vehicles ever tested by NHTSA in their categories with the lowest probability of injury in a collision. If you have a family, you literally can't choose a safer SUV currently on the market today according to NHTSA (the U.S. regulatory agency for vehicle safety).

What if I need maintenance on long term rentals?
Teslas have little to no maintenance. In the unlikely event service is needed during long term rentals, please contact me directly. If you are unable to contact me or Turo, you can use the Tesla app to request service. Please view the following video prior to doing so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBbzOBQmk-0&list=PLEox0nUMFPF4TdSPOM8VDi7aX39w7IXXH
Can I go camping?
You’ll be amazed how incredible EVs can be for camping! See the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz394aKhfLY&list=PLEox0nUMFPF74HtG6QxvInJwMFzdE1Ts2
What if I want a physical key?
If you opt not to use the phone key, you can utilize the physical key card option explained at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xxCgtXEMVY&list=PLEox0nUMFPF7ZaNZvUa8h65wEBSGtUgmw&index=1
How do I make the car drive?
To activate autopilot, double tap down on the drive selector. For a video tutorial, please see the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkSw2SZQENU&list=PLEox0nUMFPF7ZaNZvUa8h65wEBSGtUgmw&index=10
Why does the car break differently?
When you release the accelerator, the vehicle will begin slowing you down with regenerative breaking. Yes, you have a break pedal available, but you won’t need it for most driving. The car is using that energy and putting it back into the battery. As a result, you only need one pedal to drive. It may take a few minutes to get used too if you’re coming from a gas car, but once you do you’ll likely never want to go back! The benefit to this is that the breaks on the car last the life of the vehicle. See the following video and fast forward to 03:12 for a short explanation or view the whole video if you’re an over achiever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2M3YNp4_BU
Can I leave my dog in the car?
Unlike a gas car, the car can keep running without significant drain to the battery keeping your dog nice and cool. You are responsible for any damage that you or your dog cause to the vehicle. If you have a dog, please view the following video for Dog Mode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwZQe1s2ScM&list=PLEox0nUMFPF74HtG6QxvInJwMFzdE1Ts2&index=9

For home charging, please see the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rik1sKp-Ykg&list=PLEox0nUMFPF74HtG6QxvInJwMFzdE1Ts2&index=13
How do you use the Phone Key?
Using your phone number, I can give you access to the car for the duration of your rental by making your phone your key. Simply download the Tesla App and create an account. From there, I will grant your account access upon the receipt of payment. For more information see the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mW0Z2Y_M5qI&list=PLEox0nUMFPF7ZaNZvUa8h65wEBSGtUgmw&index=2
How do I charge when I'm on the road?
Tesla thought of that too; it couldn’t be simpler. Please see the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWb_sFY9wvE&list=PLEox0nUMFPF74HtG6QxvInJwMFzdE1Ts2&index=12
How do I charge the car?
For charging, it’s like getting gas but you’re plugging in vs pouring extremely dangerous and toxic gas. Your range will display on the screen the same way as with a gasoline car. The Tesla Model 3 Long Range has over 356 miles of range on a charge, but Tesla recommends using only 90% battery to make the vehicle last 2 million miles or more. Don’t worry, all these setting are already in the vehicle, you don’t have to think about anything but plugging in and the vehicle will handle the rest; to including stopping the charging process when complete. Note: Tesla can be charged in the rain or snow with no problem. Please see the following video for how to plug the car in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cR-EbAM5DcE&list=PLEox0nUMFPF7ZaNZvUa8h65wEBSGtUgmw&index=7
What's in the front? or Can I open the front trunk since there is no engine?
Due to the lack of an engine, you’ll have two trunks. Most EV owners call the Front truck a “Frunk”. For Frunk use, please see the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYk9-DOIROc&list=PLEox0nUMFPF7ZaNZvUa8h65wEBSGtUgmw&index=3

This car was amazing. Not ever being in a Tesla had some trouble finding charging stations but it does have a universal charging adapter in the trunk where the spare tire is. Clean and fast AF but charging for 20-25 min be aware of on long distance trips. I will highly recommend renting again to all my friends!
Brent
Great response time. Joaquin gave me all the answers I needed during my trip and was super helpful. Car was clean and ready to go. Will rent again!
