🚫 Not Permitted • ❌ Smoking or vaping in the vehicle (cleaning fees will apply) • ❌ Pets, unless approved in advance — any pet urine, damage, or excessive hair will result in a cleaning/damage fee • ❌ Off-roading, unpaved trail use, or towing anything • ❌ Removing the state park pass or charging cable from the car • ❌ Returning the vehicle excessively dirty (e.g., mud, food spills, strong odors, trash) ⸻ ⚠️ Other Reminders • Daily mileage limits apply — please check the listing for your trip’s allowance. • Extra mileage will incur a per-mile overage fee (visible at booking). • Return the car on time and in the same condition it was received to avoid additional fees.
Nope! This is a plug-in hybrid, so it runs just fine on gas. Charging is optional — if you want to drive in electric mode, you can use public EV stations. If you’d like to use the charging cable, just request it ahead of time and I’ll include it.
Regular unleaded gas only (87 octane). Please return it with the same level it had at pickup.
Yes! A valid Colorado State Park pass is already on the windshield and is tied to the car. It’s good for free entry into most Colorado State Parks during your trip. Please don’t remove or lose it — there’s a $40 replacement fee if it’s missing.
The daily mileage limit is listed on the booking page. If you go over, Turo charges an additional fee per mile, which is also shown in the listing.
Pets are only allowed with prior approval. Any damage or mess (especially urine or strong odors) will result in cleaning fees.
If you request the charging cable, I’ll store it neatly in the trunk. Please return it coiled and in good condition.
Just have the key fob inside the car (in your pocket, bag, or cupholder), then press the brake pedal and push the Start/Stop button. The car may not make engine noise right away because it starts in electric mode — check the dashboard to confirm it’s “Ready” to drive.
If you have the key fob on your person (in your pocket, purse, etc.), you can unlock the driver’s door by touching the back of the door handle — no need to press the fob. To lock the car, touch the grooved area on the front of the handle once you’re out of the car and the doors are closed. You never need to take the fob out — just keep it nearby and the car will sense it.
