No smoking of any kind. If the smell of any kind of smoke or any evidence that smoking took place, Turo's smoking fee of $250 will be applied. No pets are permitted inside the vehicle. The same $250 cleaning fee will be applied should there be evidence of pets being transported in the vehicle. No racing/tracking of any kind. Tire tread is measured before and after every trip. If tire tread has significantly deteriorated when the vehicle is returned due to racing/tracking a $500 fee will be charged. Please clean the vehicle prior to returning. Do not return the vehicle excessively dirty (interior and/or exterior). Remove all trash from the vehicle prior to returning. Any excess bottles, wrappers, bags etc left in vehicle will result in a cleaning violation. Return the car on time. If you need additional time added to your trip please let us know before your scheduled return time and we will extend the duration if the vehicle is still available. Turo additional usage policies will apply if the vehicle is not returned on time.

• Is this Corvette equipped with a manual transmission or an automatic?

  It has an automatic transmission with a manual paddle shift option.

• Are you flexible with extra mileage?

  We are strict with our daily mileage limit. However we do understand that in some cases a few miles over may be unavoidable. We do ask and appreciate the guest returning the vehicle within the mileage allotted for their trip. This helps us better maintain the vehicle, as well as prolong the life of this beautiful car.

• What type of fuel does this car require?

  This car requires premium unleaded, also referred to as 93 octane. Please ensure that you use this fuel every time you fill up our car. It helps this machine stay running to its fullest potential!

• How do you remove the hard top?

  There are three latches inside the cabin. Two of them are located underneath the sun visors, and one in the back center of the panel just over the driver’s right shoulder. You simply undo these latches and the panel will lift up and off. For storage, there are latches located in the rear cargo area that the panel will easily attach to. Removing the panel requires two people as to not damage the panel itself or the vehicle. The guest will be responsible for any damages while attempting to perform this process. We are available to help with removal or instruction on how to remove at check-in, just ask!

• Is this vehicle equipped with Sirius XM?

  Yes! Simply locate the “tune” feature on the main radio screen and enter your favorite Sirius XM channel code. There are also some popular channels saved in the favorites.

• If there is a mechanical issue with the car and I can’t reach you, what should I do?

  Our Corvette is equipped with an active OnStar account. In the case of an emergency, please dial 911 or press the red SOS button on the rear view mirror. Otherwise, if you simply have a mechanical issue, such as a flat tire, ran out of gas, breakdown, etc, and you can’t reach us, you can utilize the blue OnStar button for immediate access to an operator who will assist you. The vehicle is also equipped with tracking software so, should you be in an unfamiliar location, OnStar can quickly locate you as well.

• What is the smoking and pet policy?

  We are very strict with our NO smoking and NO pet policy. In efforts to preserve the cleanliness and long lasting life of our vehicle we require guests to refrain from smoking (any substance) or transporting pets in our vehicle. There will be a NON-NEGOTIABLE fee assed in the event there is evidence of smoking or pets. Please, respect our vehicle and the help us maintain a clean and fresh environment for future guests who may have smoke or pet allergies.

• How do I open the fuel door?

  Simply press the right side of the fuel door and it will pop open. To close, press again in the same location until it “latches”.

• Do you offer delivery?

  Yes! We do have several delivery locations! Please refer to the pickup and delivery section on our listing.

• What if I get stopped by law enforcement?

  You, as the guest, are responsible for your actions while driving our vehicle. As common sense would tell you, do not drive recklessly or break traffic laws. The car sharing agreement and vehicle information is located on your trip details page. Please present that information to the law enforcement offer at the time of their request.

• Do you offer any discounts beyond what’s listed on Turo?

  To show appreciate for all of our public service members, we do offer a discount to first responders and members of our military. Valid credentials are required to receive this discount. Message us before you book your trip so we can apply the discount accordingly!

• How do you reward excellent guests?

  We are extremely grateful for guests who love and care for our car as much as us! Bring back the car in the same condition we gave it to you and receive a 10% discount on your next booking with us! Additionally, leave us a 5 star review (yes, we are great hosts 😎) and we’ll include an additional 5% on top of that for a total discount of 15% off your next trip!

• Why do the front tires feel like they are rubbing? Did I do something wrong?

  This is normal. It is called the Ackerman Affect. The inside of the front tires are actually “skipping” or “skidding” while turning sharply at slow speeds. It is enhanced when the tires are cold.
