Parking details

Car will be parked at Presidential Towers parking garage at 26 S Jefferson St. Specific level and area will be given prior to pickup. Parking transponder in car will allow you in and out of garage. Can park in this parking garage free of charge during rental.

Guidelines

No smoking. Pets allowed, but please return car clean. Remote key handoffs: - I will provide you with the code and location of the lockbox about 1 hour before your pickup time. - Please send me a picture of your license next to your face when picking up the car. - Please move the lockbox to the center console after retrieving the key (don’t drive with the lockbox still attached to the outside of car). - When dropping off the car at the end of your trip, you can either lock the key inside the car (hidden) or replace the lockbox with the key in the location you found it. Please note that I am unavailable to pickup or drop off at the airport during these days and times: 12/29/18 - 1/3/2019 1/6/2019 - 1/10/2019 During normal business hours from 1/14/2019 - 1/25/2019 1/21/2019-1/22/2019 1/29/2019 - 1/30/2019 2/22/2019 - 3/2/2019 The car is available to rent during these times, but it will need to be picked up at the garage by the renter. There will be a lockbox with the key inside, as I will also be unavailable to hand the keys over in person. If you request a trip requiring pickup or drop off during these days, I will unfortunately have to decline the trip. The car is equipped with a Metromile Insurance device (uses GPS) located at the left side of the driver seat below the steering wheel. Please do not remove the device. Please also be aware that the GPS logs location through my Metromile account (I have no reason to look at this info, but want to be fully transparent).

  • Are there dates during which airport pickup and drop off are unavailable?

    Yes. Please note that I am unavailable to pickup or drop off during these days and times: 12/29/18 - 1/3/2019 1/6/2019 - 1/10/2019 During normal business hours from 1/14/2019 - 1/25/2019 1/21/2019-1/22/2019 1/29/2019 - 1/30/2019 2/22/2019 - 3/2/2019 The car is available to rent during these times, but it will need to be picked up at the garage by the renter. There will be a lockbox with the key inside, as I will also be unavailable to hand the keys over in person.   • What if we can’t meet in person to get the keys?

    If we can’t meet at the beginning of your trip, I will place the keys in a lockbox attached to the car. I will let you know 1 hour before pickup the lockbox code and location, as well as the parking garage level the car is located. If we are unable to meet in person at the end of your trip, you can either lock the keys in the car (hidden) once you are sure you are done with it, or you can utilize the lockbox if it was used at the beginning of your trip.
