Supercharger access is included, and sufficiently charging the vehicle to avoid running out of range is required. Feel free to pair your phone with the vehicle to experience the full control and multimedia features. Please should you need to wash the car - DO NOT use an automated wash as it will damage the paint finish. I recommend hand wash only, as it is more gentle on the finish. Overview: Keycard is used to open, lock, and start the car. (check the back of the keycard for visuals) To open/lock the car, tap the keycard to the driver side support column, under the camera. Door handles require you to push on the back part to make the front pop out (big side in, little side out). To start the car, tap the keycard behind the center cup holder. (the dashboard will display animated instructions). Driver Adjustments: Adjusting mirrors, steering wheel, blinkers, autopilot, etc. https://youtu.be/ReLysr7nCGM Drivetrain: Driving / Reversing / Parking: Gear changing lever is on the right. Down to drive, up to reverse and after stopping, press the lever button in to park. Charging: Charge stations are everywhere in the city and some suburbs. You can use the car dashboard map to find Tesla Superchargers located along your route they are marked as RED pins. You can also click the Lighting button on the map to get a view of charging stations nearby. Some destinations have EV charging stations, those slower but still add significant range to the vehicle. They are marked as GREY charging pins. Also, can locate them by using the following website plugshare.com. There is a 110/220V charger in the trunk of the car in a case for emergencies only. This is a very slow charging option, for emergencies only. - Charging video (converter adapter is in central console) https://youtu.be/FI7fS0ApDVo?t=1m * Please don't let the battery get below 33% or 100 miles. Critical damage is done to the battery if it hits zero and you will be charged a minimum of $500 for the Tesla Towing, and related expenses. * If you use a supercharger, the fees will need to be reimbursed after the trip.
Depending on the time between rides, the vehicle can be at various states of charge, but typically expected to be at approximately 50% or approximately 150 miles of range. Charging is included with your ride, and there is a Supercharger nearby at the Raddison Blu hotel (enter at CVS). It is recommended that you top off the vehicle before starting your drive.
