Description

Book now for 3 days or more and get a 10% discount 😀 Your trip includes 200 miles per day! We use a CONTACTLESS Check-IN/Check-OUT process! You will receive pickup information immediately after booking! We make pickup at O’Hare convenient: * O’Hare offers a modern Transit Train for traveling from the main terminals to the main parking lots. This, combined with the bus shuttle system, provides quick transport to your vehicle pickup. * Our Guests flying into the airport should expect to pickup in one of the Parking lots at the airport. The Lot F Multi-Modal Facility is generally the most convenient and safest place to pickup your vehicle. Whenever possible we use this lot for our pickups. * We strive to offer safe, secure and covered parking for our Guests. The Vehicle will be parked inside a garage or a lot at O'Hare International Airport and we do not charge a delivery fee. Guests are responsible for the parking fee when exiting the garage/lot. We find this to be the most economical for our Guests as many other Hosts charge a Delivery Fee. Typically, your parking will be $45 or less and anything above $45 will be reimbursed to you at the end of the trip(per TURO Guidelines.) Reimbursement is based on the time between when we deliver the vehicle to the lot and your original scheduled arrival time listed in Turo. Any delays or trip modifications that cause additional parking fees past the originally scheduled arrival time are the responsibility of the Guest. Total parking period at pickup could comprise multiple days due to airport Lot closing periods. Guests are responsible for parking post-trip if the vehicle is not returned full and when return times are modified. Parking will be invoiced to the Guest post trip. Reasons a Guest will pay for parking post trip include, and are not limited to, the examples below: Ex: Guest did not have correct return time in the Turo App and returns the vehicle at 12am instead of 12pm. Ex: Guest modifies return time from 8am to 4am. Ex: Vehicle returned 12 hours early with no notice. Ex. Guest returns the vehicle without refueling. * All of our vehicles have an IL Toll Pass so feel free to use Tolls. We will invoice you after the end of the trip. This service is also surcharge free 👍🏼. For availability please view all of our vehicles: https://turo.com/drivers/9721368 Why book with us? -We do not REQUIRE you to carwash or clean the vehicle at the end of your trip -We post all vehicle maintenance(see FAQ) for the vehicle - Our vehicles offer the best overall MPG and MPGe saving you $$ on fuel - We have multiple vehicles of same make/model to offer redundancy - Top Rated customer service scores for all three metropolitan airports that we service This car has a full gasoline engine and electric charging is an optional feature. The EPA has rated the 2018 Volt at 43 mpg city/42 mpg highway combined when the engine is running, and 106 Miles Per Gallon Equivalent combined when operating solely on electricity. Total mileage depends on your desire to charge the battery on a regular basis during your trip, ambient outside temp and your overall driving habits. Basic rule - warm days and driving the speed limit equals higher mileage. During the winter months you can expect approximately 34-40 miles max on the electric engine. During the warmer months you can expect 50-60 miles max. Feel free to ask your host Eric to explain the best way to maximize your experience when driving this wonderful hybrid vehicle 😁 **COMPLETELY SANITIZED** before and after each trip for both the guest and hosts safety. When renting, why not drive and pay for no gas or as little as possible. Keyless entry, steering wheel mounted audio and cruise controls and extra clean. A lot of legroom for driver and front seat passenger. Pickup and drop off 24/7 available. Passenger seats fold down for easy transport of large items. BEING LATE FOR RETURN: running late - extend your reservation accordingly. Per Turo policy it is better/cheaper for you to extend then paying late fees. Some features include: - Cruise Control - Backup Camera - Leather Interior - Heated Seats - Heated Steering Wheel - Apple CarPlay - Toll Pass - Premium parking at Airports, Shopping Outlets and other destinations Rental Insurance - Turo offers affordable coverage for your trip and this may be the best option for you. Often times, Guests are covered by their own insurance. If you are not 100% sure, we recommend contacting your personal auto insurance carrier and confirming if they cover “Peer 2 Peer” rental companies like Turo. IMPORTANT: If you decline coverage with Turo and do not have your own auto insurance policy that covers you for when you drive any vehicle, then you do not have auto insurance. Turo Coverage info: https://help.turo.com/en_us/protection-plans-including-insurance-or-us-guests-HkwgBNgN9 Disclosure: All vehicles and Key Fobs have trackers for safety reasons and to assist in case a guest misplaces the vehicle keys. Flat tire damage | Guests Guests are responsible for the vehicle during the booked period of a trip, so they could be responsible for the cost to repair or replace a flat tire. Responsibility for a flat tire You may be responsible for the cost to repair or replace a flat tire, as you’re responsible for the vehicle during the booked period of your trip. If a flat tire is due to deterioration, age, rot, or pre-existing condition, the host is responsible for the damage costs. We'll review the pre- and post-trip photos to understand the cause of the flat tire. If we determine you’re responsible, we’ll let you know within a day or two after your host files the claim. If you’re a guest in the US or Canada and choose the Premier plan, you won’t pay flat tire costs. If you’re a guest in Australia and choose the Premier plan, you won’t pay flat tyre costs. If you’re a guest in the UK and choose the Premier plan, we’ll charge you up to your excess of £250 for flat tyre damage. Note: If tire damage results from engaging in any Prohibited uses, your protection plan won’t cover repair or replacement. You’ll be responsible for the damage costs. Flat tire assistance during a trip If you get a flat tire, call for roadside assistance. In the US: 1-[Number redacted for privacy and security] In Australia: +61 2 8317 1415 In Canada: 1-[Number redacted for privacy and security] In the UK: 0[Number redacted for privacy and security] Once you’ve arranged for help, call your host. If the tire is repairable, it might be best to do so. If there’s sidewall damage or the tire isn’t repairable, get your host’s OK to replace the tire with one of equal or greater quality. Pay for the cost of the tire at full price, regardless of tire use before the incident. You’re not responsible for replacing any of the non-damaged tires. If you and your host are unable to coordinate replacing or repairing the tire, the protection plan you chose would be in effect for a damage claim.
