Description

No fuss, no recharging necessary. (Note this is not the "Performance" model, there is apparently no "long range" model to select in Turo, they listed it as Performance.). Still goes 0-60 in 5 seconds, plenty fast. Beautiful Tesla Model 3 LONG RANGE RWD (bigger battery, slightly longer range than AWD) with full self driving capability, and the new full self driving computer (version 3) just installed by Tesla in December 2020. If you are new to Teslas you are in for a treat! (Note: Currently you are still required to have your hand on the wheel at all times to take over if necessary.) If you are new to Teslas, I will be happy to show you around the car and explain all about it. Note that other than returning the car with no less than 10% battery left, you are not required to recharge the car. I do have charging cables in the trunk for overnight charging from 110v (very slow) or 220v (NEMA 15-50 plug, good for fully charging overnight) *Note: No recharging necessary so long as it is returned with at least 10% battery level. I do not like to go much below that for long. If you do need to make a quick stop at a supercharger I will pass on actual costs, not mark them up. Typically adding 150 miles to it at a supercharger costs around $9 and takes 20 minutes. Plan your trip with Tesla's navigation and it will tell you if you need to stop and will build in those stops into your trip.

Guidelines

No smoking. $250 fee will apply to anyone who breaks this rule. No pets. Do not not run the battery to zero, which results in towing, possible damage to battery. Prices listed include travel only within a 200 mile radius of Philadelphia, PA. If you travel outside of this radius without informing me you will be charged $50/day add-on. Please return the car generally as clean as it was when you received it. If it is especially dirty, muddy, or otherwise trashed I will charge the $25 cleaning fee. Please do not take the car to a drive-through automatic wash, I would rather wash it myself and not scratch the paint. Thanks!

Faqs

  • How do I charge it?

Note that you can skip all of the charging stuff if you are not going a whole lot more than 250-275 miles, and you pay the $20 fee to not worry about charging. (Month of December 2020--this is free, disregard this $20 fee.) To charge, there are many options. Pull up to a Tesla supercharger, and plug into charging port. Tesla will bill me directly and you can reimburse me during drop off. Works out to be roughly half the price of gas. (Again, free, month of December!) Please note that you must unplug and move the car within 5 minutes of when it finishes otherwise $1/minute fees will occur from Tesla. There are other lower chargers such as "destination chargers" at hotels, stores, restaurants etc., some are free. They charge at the rate of roughly 24-30 miles per hour (7-8 amp chargers), great to use overnight. To use these there is a small adapter in the charging pack in the rear trunk. If you want to plug in to a 110 plug in at your location, the charging pack contains a 120 Volt adapter and 20 foot cord that plugs into a standard wall outlet. Or a NEMA 15-30 adapter that plugs into many dryer outlets.
