I didn’t like how there was a surprise pick up fee of $21 to pick the car up. I was not informed the car was in a parking garage lot and was required to pay to even get access to the car. What if I didn’t have the extra money? Otherwise the car, trip and host were pleasant.
The location of the vehicle is always clearly listed on each vehicle listing for every car on Turo. It is your responsibility to know where you’re heading to pick up a vehicle to ensure you feel safe & comfortable. When a guest books, they receive a message with all pertinent information such as the one time parking fee, shuttle instructions & exit instructions. You’re more than welcome to cancel if you find the process did not suit your needs. Hopefully the next host is better for you.
