What range can I expect on highways?
At 65 mph expect a usable range of 70-80 miles. Plan your charging route for longer trips to avoid getting stranded and contact me if you need help doing so.
How do I charge it?
You plug it in like any appliance except the plug from the station connects to the car. Follow directions on the dc fast charger to start charging.
How long does it take to charge?
Empty to 80% takes 35-40 minutes 1.5 hour for 95% on DC fast charging. On slower level 2 charging 5-6 hours. Slower charging recommended for overnight stays. Find a hotel or AirBnB that has charging.
How do I find charging stations?
Download the Plugshare and A Better Route Planner apps. They help you find stations near you and plan trips via Google maps.
Can I connect my iPhone or Smartphone to car?
Yes by pressing the enter/setting button on the infotainment display you can access the Bluetooth settings and connect your phone. Make sure you're in park.
What are the charging stations levels I keep hearing about?
Level one plugs into a standard outlet and adds 4 miles of range per hour. Level 2 plugs into a 240 V outlet like the one used for your dryer and adds 24 miles of range per hour. There is no level 3 just what is called DC fast charging. This can add 80% of the total range of the car in 30 minutes or so.
How do I access paid charging stations?
Just download the app for the corresponding station. For convenience download the EVGO and Electrify America apps before your rental.

My car was in the shop for repairs and Tega's Nissan Leaf proved an excellent option for getting around. He was punctual, and willing to accommodate my schedule when there was an unexpected shift. Also, nothing in the area at beat the affordability at the time. I would totally rent from Tega again.

Tega is an absolutely wonderful host. Seriously, the best. When we were a little concerned about drop off before our super early flight? He just met us at the Sheetz and dropped us at our terminal. The car was great. We never even had to take it out of Eco mode. There were fast chargers nearby, including a free one at NC State, and the car charged shockingly fast compared to ours. Will definitely rent this one again next time we're in Raleigh.
I'm glad you had such a great experience and look forward to seeing you in the future.
