1. AUTHORIZED DRIVERS: You are the only person authorized to drive the vehicle. You're welcome to submit secondary drivers to Turo for approval, and once approved by Turo, they may drive the vehicle. You will still be required to be present at pickup and delivery. SMOKING AND MARIJUANA USE: Please do not smoke anything or have marijuana in the vehicle. Turo allows us to charge up to $150 for smoking violations. Thank you for helping us keep the vehicle clean for the next guest. 3. CLEANLINESS AND FUEL: Please remember to return the vehicle with the same cleanliness you received it in to avoid any cleaning fees after return. Pets are not allowed in the car. However, service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome. An additional cleaning/damage fee may incur. Don't forget to return the fuel level to where it was when you received the vehicle. If the vehicle is returned with less than the level when it was received a $5/gallon fee will be charged. This vehicle requires PREMIUM Gas; please leave the receipt in the vehicle or attach a picture to the "Trip Photos" upon return. 4. MILEAGE: Your trip comes with a mileage allowance of 200mi. It's important to remember that you will be charged a per-mile fee if you exceed that allowance. Don't drive the car out of the United States (i.e. Canada or Mexico). 5. ON-TIME RETURN: If you're running late returning the car, please reach out and let us know your estimated time of arrival or if you need additional day; please use the “Change trip” and “Change trip length” options to extend your trip before it officially ends. If the car is not returned by the scheduled end date and end time listed on Turo, you may incur extra fees such as an additional usage fee, a late fee, and an improper return fee. 6. TICKETS AND TOLLS: If you get a ticket for a traffic or parking violation; please attach a picture of the ticket to the "Trip Photos" and if possible, leave the hard copy in the car. If you are unable to pay or we receive the ticket after the trip end date, you will be charged the following: 1. The cost of the ticket 2. Relevant processing fees administered by the issuing body 3. $30 processing fee per ticket The car is registered with NTTA. If you take a toll road, you will be charged the cost of the toll after your trip ends. 7. ACCIDENTS AND TOWING: In case of an accident, the Turo Insurance ID Card is available on the app and when you view the trip details and, in the vehicle safety folder located in the glove compartment. Please write down or take pictures of the vehicle info (VIN, license plate, and state of vehicle), driver license info (name, address, and driver license number), and insurance info (insurance company and policy number) of all parties involved. Please inform us of the details of the accident and share all relevant documents. If the vehicle is towed to an impound lot, it is your responsibility to retrieve the vehicle immediately. It is your responsibility to pay for all fees associated with the ticket, tow, and storage.
