It's a great car to zip around Austin in, but is not a road trip vehicle. It technically seats 4 but the back seats are a little tight so keep that in mind. -Electric range of ~60 miles, gas range extends total range to about 130 miles; your range will vary -DC Fast Charging -Top trim (Tera package) with full leather interior -Parking assist package with automatic parallel parking (if you want a demo of this let me know!) -Back up camera -Harmon Kardon premium sound with active SiriusXM radio -Navigation -Ambient Lighting -Suicide opening rear doors -Hill hold assist and electronic parking brake -Eucalyptus wood

How does the range extender work?
When the battery gets below about 10 percent, there is a small engine at the back of the car that will periodically turn on and off to re-charge the battery. This is only meant to give you about 50 extra miles of range. Charge the car as soon as you come to the next available charger.
How do I put it in gear?? This shifter is funky.
Yep, it's one of my favorite weird things about the i3. Just put your foot on the brake and flick it forward for drive and backward for... backward.
How long does the i3 take to charge?
If you use the Level 1 standard charger that comes with the car, it takes about 10-12 hours to charge from empty to full. if you use Level 2 charging, it takes about 3-4 hours from empty.
Can I plug the i3 into a Tesla charger?
No, this car will not charge with any Tesla charger or Supercharger. It uses a J1772/CCS plug. Tesla uses a propriety plug.

Great ride! Marcelo was fantastic and made everything super easy. Highly recommend!

Marcelo was really great about getting the car to me and giving me a tutorial. I’ve never driven an EV before so it was new to me. We had a great time getting around Austin in this vehicle. Would definitely rent from Marcelo again!!!
Kayma
Marcelo was extremely generous. He was helpful during my first time in Austin. The car was nice and clean and he gave full transparency on how to navigate the car. The only thing is I wasn't use to the electric car and wasn't for me to keep having to charge up. Otherwise I would definitely book again!

Awesome Host! Great car! Very helpful when needed and went above and beyond to ensure my trip was a success! Definitely will rent again next time I'm in Austin!
