• Can I drive the car out of state or internationally?

  You can drive the car out of state. You cannot drive the car out of the country.

• Are there any restrictions on toll roads or parking? Does the car come with an EZ Pass?

  The car comes equipped with an EZ pass for your convenience. After your trip ends you’ll receive an invoice for the cost of tolls which you can easily pay through the Turo app.

• Can I extend my reservation?

  You can easily request to extend your trip in the Turo app! As long as the vehicle has not been booked by another guest already, you can always extend your trip.

• Can I add an additional driver to the reservation?

  Yes! You can add additional drivers in the Turo app. This is required for the vehicle to be protected under Turo’s insurance.

• What happens if there is damage to the car during my rental?

  If there is damage to the vehicle during your trip, send me a message through the Turo app right away so I can help you resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In the glove compartment you will find a Turo Incident card with a number you can call for 24 hour support and roadside assistance from Turo. If the vehicle cannot be driven Turo will provide a tow service and help you book another vehicle. If we have other vehicles available we can provide one to you.

• What is the fuel policy for the car?

  Your vehicle will come with a full tank of gas. We ask that you also return the vehicle with a full tank of gas. You can optionally return the vehicle without refueling, in which case we will refuel the vehicle for you for the cost of fuel plus a $10 convenience fee.

• Are there any specific cleaning requirements before returning the car?

  We ask that you return the car in a reasonably clean condition, free of trash and debris. You will find wet wipes in the glove compartment and heavy duty paper towels in the trunk in case of and spills.

• How do I contact you in case of an emergency or if I have questions during my trip?

  You should first message me through the Turo app. This is will make sure someone else from my team gets your message if I’m unavailable in that moment. For an emergency you should first message me through the Turo app and then call me directly.

• Can I smoke l in the car?

  Smoking is not allowed in the vehicle and signs of smoking may result in a $250 cleaning fee as well as the cost of any damage done to the car.

• Is there a mileage limit?

  Yes, there is a 200 mile per day limit. If you exceed this mileage you’ll be charged for the additional mileage in the Turo app.

• How do I return the car at the end of the reservation?

  The check-out process is simple. You’ll bring the vehicle back to the pickup location and lock the keys in a lock box attached to the vehicle.

• What happens if I'm running late for the pick-up or drop-off?

  If you are running late for a pick-up or drop-off you should modify the trip through the Turo app and send me a message through the app.

• How do I pick up the car?

  We offer a contact-free self check-in process for your convenience. 24 hours before your trip we’ll ask you to verify your identity by sending us a selfie holding your license. Once we’ve confirmed your identity, we’ll send you a lock box code. At the time of your pickup you’ll find the vehicle waiting with a lock box attached to the drivers side window. Your key will be waiting inside.

• What happens if the car breaks down during my rental?
