Description

Cruise around Southwest Florida and beyond in this Ford C-Max Energi plug in hybrid. This amazing gas saving car is capable of driving up to 19 miles on battery alone before switching to an advanced EV mode using it's 2.0L 140 bhp gasoline motor and helped by a 118 bhp electric motor. Gas savings are amazing in the vehicle. I average over 40mpg without ever plugging the car in. As with most plug-in cars, the battery power can be reserved using the EV-Later mode for slower driving areas where it gets better range. You can use the 220v charging stations located around Florida (many of which are free) or charge the car from a standard 120v household outlet. Home charging typically takes around 7 hours. Level 2 charging stations can charge in less than half that time. When charging at home plug the supplied charging cord (located under the drivers seat) into the wall outlet first. When finished, unplug from the car first. Go to Plugshare.com or use their app for the most up to date list of charging stations. This is a very comfortable car, even for tall people. It's an easy car to drive and park with great visibility all-round. There are parking sensors front and rear as well as a back up camera. Other features include leather upholstery with heated front seats. There's voice activated navigation or you can pair your smartphone into the nine speaker Sony premium sound system and use your own navigation as well as listen to your music. There's a vent mount phone holder to secure your phone. The car features parking assist technology. To operate the self parking reduce speed to less than 20mph, press the P button on the center console and wait for the car to alert you that it has found a suitable spot. Put the car in reverse, remove your hands from the wheel and control the speed yourself as the car steers itself into the space. Check your surroundings throughout the maneuver for traffic and people. You control the speed. If you're on a one way street and wish to park on the left side turn on the left hand indicator to activate the drivers side sensors. There's dual zone climate control, remote start and a powered tailgate with hands free open and close. You can open and close the tailgate with the keyfob, from the button inside the car or by sweeping your foot under the rear of the car if your hands are full. The tailgate can also be closed by using any of the above methods. The vehicle is fitted with a Dash Cam which you can use if you wish. Most guests opt to leave it powered on throughout their trip as the footage can be invaluable in the event of accident. By default, it does not record audio unless the guest enables it. The camera is a Vava 360. A micro SD card adapter is located under the center armrest if you wish to upload your footage to your laptop. Footage and live feed can also be sent straight to your smart phone via the VAVA app and wifi. Luggage space is limited because of the built in Lithium ion battery pack but the rear seats can be quickly and easily folded down to give pass though access from the trunk. The car is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and I offer curbside delivery within 30 miles of Cape Coral, including Fort Myers and Punta Gorda airport. I can even drive you to your hotel if you're tired after your flight. Now with 3M Crystalline window tint. All of the car's windows have been fitted with the most advanced window tinting film on the market today. The heat rejection is amazing! The car has push button start. Press the brake and then press the start button. A green light will appear on the dash indicating the car is ready to drive. The car can be unlocked using the remote keyfob or by pulling the door handle if the key is less than two feet from the car. You can also hold down the unlock button on the keyfob for 2 seconds and all the windows will go down. It's a great feature for venting the car quickly in extreme temperatures. Lock the car by using the remove keyfob or pressing the black pad on the door handle. The fuel cap is on the passenger side of the vehicle. It is opened by pressing the release button located on the center console below the air-conditioning controls. The car has automatic headlights. You can turn them on manually but you must remember to turn them off again. In the event of a flat battery, the car can be jump started by connecting leads or booster pack to the small accessory battery under the hood. The front wipers are automatic. Their sensitivity can be adjusted by rotating the wheel on the right stalk. The rear wiper is activated using the rocker switch at the tip of the same stalk. If you have any questions about the car during your trip, feel free to message me anytime. **REMOTE pickup/dropoff only from Cape Coral 11/21/2019-11/29/2019 due to family vacation**
