So much fun to drive, and really easy once you get the hang of the card-key, controls, etc. TeslaRents was great to work with, I had to call a few times throughout the rental with silly Tesla questions and they were quite patient and helpful. I also had to extend the rental and they were kind and accomodating. I'd definitely rent from them again!

So where to start?.. Costumer service was good my issue is mainly with the car . At the beginning of my trip I was super excited to take a ride to see my mom. Inbar called me to let me know the listed tesla model 3 2020 had been double booked and if I would be willing to take an "upgrade" to the model S. Being that I booked the car relatively close to my trip I was willing to accept their offer. The reason for the "" around "upgrade" is because the car I got was not an upgrade. The car ended up being a Tesla model S 2015 70D. The car came with a load of issues. Ranging from preexisting damage to the exterior of the car to "charge port open" bug. The car wasn't updated before my trip so half way through the navigation system stopped working. When I reached out to Inbar I was prompted to connect to wifi and download the update which might fix it. Tried the download no luck eventually the next day it begun working. The air pressure in the tires hadn't been checked and the tire pressure warning was on the entire trip. The car when I picked it up wasn't cleaned on the exterior. The interior look clean but I still wiped the steering wheel for good measure. I actually considered taking it to a car wash. But that would have added extra time to my trip. Let's talk battery. Obviously it being a older model the batteries despense quicker. The range of the model 3 that I initially booked would have gotten me 250miles.. the "upgrade" got me 180miles which felt more like 110miles. Which means more time and visits to the charge station. When the navigation was working, it was almost as if the car didn't recognize it's own range and recommended charge stops that would leave the car a little to close to empty for my liking. All in all in the future if presented with an upgrade I'll think twice. The costumer service as far a response time for any questions I had was good. The initial communication was awesome. It's just I'm a Tesla enthusiast, I wasn't looking for something in such bad shape and when paying a certain amount of money you expect quality, not a run down car, at least by my tesla standard experience.
