So far there are nothing but five star reviews and I would like to keep the streak going! *** PICK UP/DROPFF location is only 10 min drive from San Francisco international airport and 15 min drive from SF downtown. SUPER CONVENIENT! *** SFO Turo valet parking lot pick up/drop off option also available. It is a very good deal! (Please read FAQs for more information if you are flying into SFO and would like to SAVE MONEY.) Turo valet parking is a very good deal because Turo will cover COMPLEMENTARY transportation for you to and from SFO airport, which is only 3 miles away. It is well worth the service and saves time, and you do not have to worry about taking your own photos and an attendant will assist you for everything. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on Turo message. You can also book the trip first and ask any question through text message. Per Turo policy, my phone number can only be revealed after booking. Honda Civic EX with great maintenance and care, low mileage. Great gas efficiency at 35-40 mpg (> 45 on highway). Parking details

The car is in parking lot at 150 North Hill Drive, Brisbane, CA 94005. I can present the key in person. Please return the car in the same location as well. I have the permit to park in there, so you do not need to worry about any parking fee.

Guidelines

** DRIVER ** The primary driver on the Turo account must be present, with a valid driver license to receive the vehicle. Only the primary or Turo approved secondary drivers may drive the vehicle. ** TOLL ** Renter is responsible for all tolls. Car does not have a Fastrak. Please use cash lanes at toll stations. If you plan to pass Golden Gate Bridge, please use the prepay feature on www.bayareafastrak.org to pay for your planned data of pass in advance. ** CLEANLINESS ** Please return the car as clean as it was when you start to have it. NO pet allowed and NO smoking. Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle according to Turo policy. You will be subject to a $250 cleaning fee for smoke and pet hair cleanup. ** GAS ** Two options for gas: (1) Return the car with full fuel as the car is always ready for you with full tank. (2) Skip gas refuel and I will do for you afterwards ($60/trip). ** TICKET ** The renter is responsible for all tickets during your rental AND for 24 hours following the rental period. If you incur a ticket, I will pay off the ticket for you and Turo will charge a fee in addition. You may elect to pay off the ticket on your own.

  • How do I get the car with my Turo rental if I am flying into San Francisco International Airport (SFO)?

    There are two methods you can use. 1. The first economical way to get the car is to pick up and drop off the car at SFO Turo valet lot. (This is a very good deal!) Turo would provide the complimentary transportation to and from SFO. You can take an Uber or Lyft to the Turo valet lot at 675 EI Camino Real, San Bruno, CA, 94066, which is only 3 miles away from SFO. Turo will reimburse you up to $20 (pre-tip) with the receipt. When you return the vehicle to SFO Turo Valet lot, an attendant will arrange transportation (Uber or Lyft) to your airport terminal. It is well worth the service, and you do not have to worry about taking your own photos and an attendant will assist you for everything. If you choose SFO Turo valet lot, there is a delivery fee of only $55 (free if renting two weeks or more). 2. The second economical way to get the car is to take an Uber or Lyft to the vehicle parking lot, which is only 10 min drive away from SFO.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! The car broke down and ruined two days of my vacation! This is NOT a 5-star car, and the owner and Turo didn't resolve the problem quickly!!! The car would not start, and would not jump start. I called Turo roadside assistance and the owner, and they called several different tow trucks to try and jump start it. There was terrible communication with Turo and the owner. They were disorganized and it was unclear whose responsibility was this broken down car. It took SEVEN hours for them to finally tow the car off to a repair shop, and so I spent the entire Saturday of my vacation sitting next to the broken down car instead of enjoying the beautiful day. The owner and Turo were not competent to resolve the issue. The owner could have driven down to where the car was--just an hour from his home--to take over the car and deal with it. The car is not maintained at a 5-star level. When we went to jump start the car, the tow truck driver pointed out that the cable connected to the battery had been damaged and glued together to try and fix it. This wasn't the reason that the car failed to start, but it showed that this is not being maintained at the highest level. The engine also sounds weak. The owner was not rude, but he was not prompt to resolve the issue. He suggested that I might have caused the problem. I've been driving old Hondas for 30 years. I know when the starter dies, and I know that it's not caused by the driver. Since I was now stuck in a smaller town on a Saturday afternoon, there were no other Turo (or other company) rentals available. That meant that instead of having a car to enjoy the following day of our vacation, we had to stay at our hotel and then take an Uber (for $100) to the airport. This car--and the terrible and slow service from Turo and the owner--caused me to lose two days of vacation. Not worth it!

Communication is good. The car drives okay. The car was dirty upon pickup, so it made it hard to see at night, using the windshield wipers helped a little. Gas pedal is sensitive but you have to press reallyyy hard on the brakes to stop. Overall was an okay driving experience.

Thank you for the feedback. If you expressed any concern earlier, I would be more than happy to assist you. Upon the return, the vehicle went through routine maintainence/inspection and oil change, and there was no any issue with brake and pedal found by mechanic. In addition, no renter before and after you complained about any issue with the vehicle. Sorry to hear you are not satisfied but no issue found. Next time please do not return the vehicle hour late and remember to refuel the gas.
