• How Do I Add an Additional Driver?

  To approve an additional driver on Turo, follow these steps: 1. **Primary Driver's Responsibility**: The primary driver (who booked the trip) is responsible for inviting the additional driver to the trip. 2. **Invite the Additional Driver**: - Log into your Turo account. - Go to the “Trips” section. - Select the relevant trip. - Look for an option to invite an additional driver. Turo may offer a button or link, such as “Add driver” or “Invite driver.” 3. **Additional Driver's Account**: The additional driver must have a Turo account. If they don’t, they’ll need to sign up and be approved by Turo before being added to the trip. 4. **Verification Process**: - Once invited, the additional driver will receive an email or notification prompting them to complete the verification process. - They’ll need to upload their driver’s license and any other required documents for Turo’s approval. 5. **Approval**: Once the additional driver completes the necessary steps, Turo will verify and approve (or deny) their ability to drive on the trip. You will receive a confirmation once the process is complete. Both drivers must meet Turo’s eligibility requirements and have completed the required verifications to drive.

• What if I Need Extra Mileage?

  No problem, Turo will charge a per/mile charge over the allotted mileage, which varies depending on the car daily rate.

• What Type of Gas Does the Car Take? Do I Need to Fill Up the Gas Tank Before Return?

  91 Octane is the Premium Unleaded recommended by Fiat, and minimum that vehicle should be filled with is 87 Octane. Yes, the tank should be filled to FULL within 20 miles of returning the vehicle, unless the "Extra" Pre-Paid Refuel was purchased at time of booking, in that case the vehicle can be returned at any Fuel level.

• How Do Tolls work?

  The vehicle is equipped with a toll pass transponder. It gives you a discount on tolls and allows you to drive through the toll lanes without needing to stop. These toll fees will be passed along to you as a Reimbursement invoice within the Turo App after the Trip's Completion (could take several days for the Tolls system to pass along the fees).

• How Easy are the Pick-Up / Drop-Off Processes?

  Pick-Up and Drop-Offs are contactless, using a key lockbox. Prior to the scheduled times, you will receive detailed instructions on each process, progressing through the trip check-in & check-out processes on Turo App.

• Do I need to return the Vehicle Clean?

  No, but please return car interior without any trash or personal belongings left in it - we do not require you to vacuum or clean UNLESS you’ve spilled, stained or really tracked in a lot of dirt/mud/sand. A good rule of thumb is to return it like you would if borrowing your friend’s car - if you don’t like your friends and leave a lot of crumbs, chip bags, candy wrappers, old parking receipts, luggage tags and shoe dirt on the dash, center console and door panels.

• How many people can fit into this vehicle? Is there much room for baggage?

  The car will accommodate up to four individuals but the rear seats offer limited leg room and the rear cargo area is very small as well. Two people with luggage stowed on the rear seats will be comfortable.

• Are you flexible with extensions? Returning the car early? Adjusting pick-up/return time?

  Yes, and discounts apply on extra days if the vehicle is not already scheduled by someone else and available. The vehicle will be ready for you at your scheduled pick-up time and if you pick up later there is no problem. Any significant changes should be made in the Turo App under the "Modify Trip Details" section, which is particularly important for extension requests or if you are going to be more than 30 minutes late in vehicle drop-off or if you want to pick-up the car more than 30 minutes early.
