FasTrack is equipped- which will let you breeze through tolls quicker everyone else! Check out any part of the Bay Area. The tight streets of San Francisco, the bustling streets of Palo Alto (including the Facebook, Google, and Apple Headquarters), or take it for a longer drive through Half Moon Bay to take a break from the busy Bay Area & tree some delicious seafood. If you have the time- Tahoe isn’t too far away and the sights would make for a great 2/3 day trip. Try this car out. You'll love it. Tesla is a revolutionary company pushing out revolutionary products. Equipped with autopilot, you'll enjoy testing out its quirks and features! A couple of small bags, one suitcase, or few shopping bags, you'll be surprised what fits. There's even some hidden storage in the "frunk". And don't forget about the heated seats and the panoramic glass roof! Please no smoking or pets in the car. Automatic $200 fee will be charged for an interior detail.

I'm thinking of buying a Tesla, should I test it out here first?
Absolutely!!!! It's the only way to know for sure if you'll want this car. A 15-minute test drive is barely enough to get over the fear of driving such a nice car, let alone feel how much you like it. I have owned both the Model S and now the Model 3. I'm happy to talk about all of my experiences with it to help you make a decision on your own.
How do I charge the cars?
The supercharger network is fantastic. Nearby ones are located nearby in Alameda, Richmond, and San Francisco. Back into a supercharger parking space and charge up in 20-30 minutes! Please do not charge past 80% as it is bad for long term battery health. Alternatively, you can use chargepohnt stations located throughout the Bay Area. These do take a bit longer but are convenient. The adapter and key card are located in the glovebox. Unfortunately, electricity is not free. It is significantly cheaper than gas though :) Turo will automatically bill you at the end of the trip for electricity costs.

Renting Ethan's Tesla was an awesome experience. The Tesla drives beautifully and self driving all the way to Tahoe & back was a huge benefit! His car has enough space to fit two snowboards if no one is sitting in the back seat. Ethan was also great as a host and showed us how to drive the Tesla before the trip. Pick up & return super easy, would highly recommend!

Was my first experience with turo and with a Tesla. Ethan was extremely helpful answering my questions from how to operate the car to charging. Autopilot is like a look into the future or the automobile. Charge times vary depending on usage so there is that with any electric car but overall great experience!
