Description

2020 Tesla Model 3. Pearl White Exterior with All Black Premium Interior & 18” Aero Wheels. This Tesla Model 3 has the following Specs: Long range model (322 miles) Dual Motor (All Wheel Drive) 4G-LTE internet connectivity, Navigation system powered by Google Maps On-demand music streaming Internet Radio 15” LED touchscreen with Premium Sound & Bluetooth connectivity LED interior accent lighting Panoramic Glass Roof - the whole top of the car is glass! Premium Black Interior 18” Aero Wheels Efficient! 123 highway, 136 city (MPGe) Fast! (0-60 in 4.4 seconds) In addition, the IIHS, an independent, nonprofit scientific and educational organization, gave the Model 3 its highest safety rating, Top Safety Pick+. Are you sick of infotainment systems on supposed “premium” cars that feel like they are running on a Blackberry (RIP) from 2002? Tesla has just the answer you’ve been waiting for! Finally, a car that feels like it was actually made in the 21st century! Try it for yourself and see why Tesla Model 3 is the car of the future! There is a reason why Teslas are the number one most sought after car on Turo! In February 2020, the Japanese business publication Nikkei conducted its own independent Tesla Model 3 teardown. What they found was that the Model 3 hardware is years ahead of the competition. Specifically, Nikkei reports that industry experts believe that other automakers won't have similar computing power until around 2025 at the earliest, placing Tesla squarely ahead of the competition. The reason for this is simple - legacy auto manufacturers have to source parts from existing supply chains, and are relying on third party vendors to cobble together off-the shelf solutions for the electronics in their automobiles. In contrast, Tesla’s ‘secret sauce’ is that every aspect of the hardware and software that runs a Tesla has been custom designed from the ground up in house by Tesla engineers and specifically optimized to run in their own cars, creating a truly modern custom solution. The end result of all this hard work is a car that is completely unlike anything else on the road: quiet, efficient, and unbelievably quick. This is not just a good car for an EV. This is an outstanding car, period. You owe it to yourself to try driving a Tesla today. Who knows? You may never go back to the ICE age!

Guidelines

Do NOT attempt to disable Tesla mobile access. Car will be reported as stolen if this is turned off. Please do not charge car beyond 90% of it's full capacity (unless you intend to drive it immediately) Please do not wash / clean exterior - I will take care of it upon return No Smoking /Vaping in the car. No Eating / Drinking in the car No Pets Return the car as clean as it was when you picked it up (interior only) Please operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner! -Cleaning Fee- A $250 fee will be applied to your reservation if there is any smoke smell, evidence of pets, other foul smell detected. A $20 fee will be applied if there is any trash left behind. If used, Tesla supercharging will be billed to you via Turo after the trip, at cost. Of course, the actual cost will vary depending on how much charging you do, if you incur idle fees, etc. However, in any case you will find that it is significantly cheaper than an equivalent amount of gasoline cost. You can use other apps to locate & charge with third party charging stations as well. Though in order to use them you will need to open your own account. Possibilities include EVgo, ChargePoint, PlugShare, or ChargeHub. I cannot recommend or vouch for any of these services, as I have never used any of them myself. I would be interested to hear your feedback if you end up using one! Many hotels offer EV charging for free to paid guests. This is a wonderful advantage because you can start each day with a "full tank", for free! Use of car includes mobile charger if requested. Standard 110v adapter, Nema 15-40 adapter, and SAE J1772 EV adapter are all available. Replacement cost for lost charger is $350.

Faqs

  • What if I just want to drive the car and not mess around with charging it?

I am guessing a lot of people just want to try driving a Tesla, but don't necessarily want to mess around with charging it. If that's you, just select the "Prepaid EV recharge" option when booking the car. Since Turo sets a 200 mile per day limit by default, if you book the car for one day and stick to that amount of driving, you will likely not have to worry about recharging at all. If you select the prepaid recharge option, you can return the car with a low battery and I will take care of the re-charging for you. Please don't cut it too close though, especially if you are returning the car to a delivery location. I will need enough battery to drive it to the nearest charger!

  • How do I charge the car?

Options: - Your hotel may offer complimentary EV recharging (just plug it in at night and it will be ready for you in the morning!) - Tesla Superchargers (fastest charging option, I will be billed as car's owner and forward charges to you) - Download a charging app and set up an account. There are thousands of charging stations! Popular apps include: EVgo, ChargePoint, PlugShare, ChargeHub

  • How does charging work?

This car has a giant battery underneath it. It works just like your cell phone: you plug it in and it charges. It is not a hybrid, and it does not take gas. Like your phone, it has a battery indicator that tells you how many "miles" remain in the battery. But just like a gas-powered car, it's an estimate, and your driving habits can greatly effect the range. Also, the temperature outside can affect the range - colder temperatures tend to eat up the battery faster. For every trip, I will make sure that you start with a "full" battery (or as close to it as possible). Just like with a gas-powered car, it will be the guest's responsibility to return the car with a similar level of charge as when it was received. There are a lot of public charging options available, and certain hotels will offer complimentary charging, so be sure to check with them!
