Faqs

  • How do I charge the vehicle?

Navigate to any supercharger using the built-in navigation. Once parked at the supercharger, open the charge port and plug in. The car will start to charge automatically at no additional cost to you. This is by far the fastest charging method and also likely, the most convenient. There are also many Tesla destination chargers at parks, restaurants and other points of interest with free charging. Search for one using Google maps. Additionally, you can use the included J1772 adapter at other networks, but you will need to pay at those stations. Finally, you can use the included mobile charger in a standard outlet or 240 volt outlet.

  • How do I engage the cruise control or autopilot?

To engage the cruise control, simply pull down once on the shift lever while traveling. The speed can be adjusted by scrolling up and down on the right scroll wheel on the steering wheel. The following distance can be adjusted by pay l pushing the right scroll wheel left and right. The autopilot can be engage by pulling down twice on the shift lever while traveling on a well marked roadway. The driver must remain alert and in control of the vehicle at all times.
