Description

The is an absolutely original DeLorean DMC-12. The famous gull-wing doors, stainless steel body. No flux capacitor

Features

Must be 30+ to book

Manual transmission

Guidelines

- No smoking, no pets, no smoking pets. - Bring the DeLorean back the way you picked it up, basically clean, full of gas and ready to go on another adventure - The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that deep down inside we ALL believe we are good drivers.

Faqs

  • What's a manual transmission?

This might not be the car for you. To drive the DeLorean DMC-12, you're going to need to know how to drive a manual transmission. There's even a picture. Seriously - this is the wrong car to learn stick on...

  • Where’s the gas?

Unless you’re on a multi-day trip, don’t worry about the gas. Filling up the car is too complicated.

  • The lights aren’t coming on.

This car was built in the early 80s in Northern Ireland. There are things that work in ways you would not guess - push once for parking lights, twice for full beams.

  • How do I get it into reverse?

Apparently the Irish have fairly strong arms - it’s a lift into reverse, and you really need to be prepared to lift.

Such a unique car. It was a perfect fun way to exit our wedding reception. Gregg was great with everything.

Gregg was great. The car was exactly as described. No surprises or issues. It was my first experience with Turo and was a great one. Thanks Gregg!

Driving the Delorean was a blast. Watching people stop and look at the car was a highlight. The car turned heads. If I am ever back in Austin I will definitely rent another car from Gregg. He is easy going and really nice. I'm sure I would have spent an hour just talking to him about his cars. Unfortunately the Delorean doesn't have the flux capacitor, but it was an awesome trip back in time.
