This has been the worst driving experience in my life. I was driving Jessica’s car on the highway going approximately 65 mph and then the car started to slow down on it’s own while I was driving. The more I pressed on the gas to reach 65 to 70 the more the car was moving slow. The car started to speed and then slow down (it would drive the 65 for a few seconds and then slow down, almost like someone was kicking or pushing the car forward every few seconds.(The slow down speed was around 45 mph) It was scary and I hope this never happens to anyone else. I’m very grateful that I didn’t get in a car accident. I reached out to Jessica about her car immediately. Her 1st words were “ Where is the car now” and then she called my phone with an attitude. Jessica told me that she would contact Turo to see what she could do about the situation and she will get back to me. I didn’t hear anything back from Jessica the next morning, so I reached out to Turo myself so I could end my rental early. I didn’t feel safe continuing driving Jessica's car. So I requested for an early return because the car wasn’t safe to drive since it was slowing down on the highway. When Jessica came to pick up her car she still had a really bad attitude. Asking me if I’m going to put gas in her car, so then she billed me for Refueling $10 and Refueling convenience fee $10 with fee & tax $22.38. Jessica's car was not safe to drive so why would I put my life in more danger to go to the gas station to put gas in it or to drive it anywhere. Make it make sense! Jessica has poor interpersonal skills, a really bad attitude and could care less about someone's safety or someone’s well-being. Dealing with a malfunctioning car and horrible customer service from Jessica was very draining. I’m still waiting on my refund for the two days that I didn’t drive the car. Hope this situation will be resolved soon. Turo customer service has not been helpful. I have been on the phone and the chat for the past 3 days dealing with this situation.
