If you’ve driven a Tesla, you know what’s great about these cars. If you haven’t, there is no time like the present. If you are a little concerned about driving an EV, I’m happy to give you an introductory lesson before you set off. I offer free vehicle delivery anywhere in the Athens area (with at least 2 days notice and if you are willing to take me home - a great chance for that introductory lesson - contact me for free delivery). $15 delivery if you’d rather get on your way immediately. Of course, you are welcome to pick up on your own at my home location on the West side of town. Approximately 1 hour before your rental begins, you’ll get access to the vehicle on the Tesla app, which will serve as your ‘virtual key’ for the rental. You'll also get a physical key card. Unlike most Teslas, this vehicle is equipped with a ‘heads up display’ (more like a typical dashboard), so the information you need while driving is where you are more used to seeing it. The HUD is also equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This is a fun car to drive around Athens and beyond with around 220 miles of ‘real world’ range, it’s capable of taking you much further using the Supercharger network.
