There is no delivery fee for the home location in Arroyo Grande. If you’d like a ride to or from the pickup location, please let me know and we can arrange to pick you up and drop you off in another Tesla. Depending on how far the distance is to you, we may be able to pick you up at no additional charge. This is our most preferred option for pick ups. Thanks!

Please no off-roading or racing. It’s OK to launch 0-60Mph legally. Please keep the battery charge level between 20% and 80% when parked. It’s OK to go below 20% if you’re on the way to a charger to charge the car. It’s OK to go above 80% if you will immediately use the charge and deplete the battery below 80% (for example, going on a long trip). This will help preserve battery life and improve longevity. Please no racing, track days or off-roading with this vehicle without express consent. Special insurance will be required. Please no pets. A cleaning fee will be applied per Turo’s cleaning and disinfection policy if any evidence of pets is discovered. Thank you for your consideration! If unsafe or prolonged high speed driving detected, we reserve the right to speed limit the car and/or cancel the booking. A standard repair fee of $200 per wheel will be charged for any damaged wheel. Guest is responsible for all damages including Turo deductible of $2500 if a claim is filed. All cars on Turo are non-smoking vehicles. Turo prohibits guests, their passengers, and vehicle hosts from smoking in any car listed on Turo. This policy covers the use of, but is not limited to, any tobacco or tobacco-related products, marijuana or marijuana substitutes, e-cigarettes, or personal vaporizers. If the car shows physical evidence of smoking, Turo will charge you a smoking violation fee of $150 plus an additional 3% process fee and remove you from the platform. Turo will also close your account, and you’ll be unable to appeal this action. Thanks for your understanding.

• How far can I go on one charge? 🔋

  It depends on the car battery’s state of charge when you start your trip. At 100% charge, this Tesla can go up to 285 miles. This is shown in the car’s display as either a percentage or mile range. Tap the number on the screen to toggle between percentage and mileage. Tap the battery icon on the screen to see a visualization of how full the battery is.

• Where can I charge the car? ⚡️

  You can charge at any Tesla supercharger, shown as a 🔴 inside the car on the navigation screen. Supercharging costs will be billed to you through Turo after the trip ends. To show all the nearby chargers, tap the screen to make the charger button appear, and in the right hand side tap the button to locate all nearby chargers on the map. Navigating to any location will automatically route through superchargers if needed.

• Can I extend my booking? 📅

  We'd be delighted if you extended your booking which you can request in the app here: https://help.turo.com/extending-or-shortening-your-trip-BypBE4eVc If the car is available, we will approve the booking request ASAP. If the car is unavailable, we might be able to offer you an alternative. Please notify the host of your desire to extend the booking so we can review the request immediately. Thanks!

• How do I hear my phone apps in the car? 📱

  First, ensure you pair your phone with the car via Bluetooth. This will allow you to make and answer calls in the car, and stream music through the speakers. In the music app interface in the car, select the bluetooth source option to hear audio from your phone while it is playing media. This works for any app on your phone, including Spotify, Pandora, YouTube etc... For regular phone calls going through bluetooth, the music will pause and you won't need to select the bluetooth source in the music app to hear and speak on the phone. You can also use the phone app in the car to dial and answer calls. Note that the audio from FaceTime and other video call apps won’t play over the car speakers, unless the bluetooth source is selected in the music app.

• Climate control when leaving the car. ❄️

  First put the car in park. Then, before leaving the vehicle, tap the A/C temperature on the driver's side to bring up the A/C control. Select between the following options: 1. Keep - leaves the A/C on in the car at the current temperature and settings. 2. Dog - Same as "keep" with a dog animation on the screen. 3. Camp - Keeps the 12V power on and A/C which is useful if you are charging a device while away from the car. Additionally, you can turn the climate on in the Tesla app after you get access to the car. Note that the cabin overheat protection feature won't allow the car to get hotter than 105 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius) as long as the battery is charged above 20%. You can also turn on the heated seats from the app remotely.

• Where can I pick the car up from? ✈️

  We are very flexible when it comes to location. What we offer is a shuttle service in another Tesla, from your location to the car at the supercharger. This keeps the miles accurate on the rental, and the charge level at the maximum. Please let us know where you'd like to be picked up and the time so we can organize this ASAP. Thanks!

• How long does it take to charge the car? ⏱

  Charging the car at a Tesla supercharger is quickest when the battery level is down to 20%. Routing to the supercharger in the navigation system will precondition the battery for maximum charge speed. Charging from 20% to 50% takes about 10-15 minutes at a v3 250kW supercharger. Charging from 50% - 90% will take longer due to the nature of the battery chemistry. Charging the battery completely will take the longest time up to an hour or more.

• Is it true the car can fart? 💨

  LOL yes! Select the Toy Box app in car, and then “Emissions Testing”. Tap on the screen to to make a seat “fart”. Options exist to fart in demand using the scroll button on the steering wheel, and/or the steering wheel. Also, while software allows, go back to the Toy Box and choose “Boom Box” to make fart noises from the external speaker!
