Rent Tesla cars near Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport

Ryan was an awesome host. Brand new Tesla and ours is older so he took the time to walk us through new features. The car was perfectly clean and given the gas prices and chargers available everywhere it was a perfect add to our trip. Ryan was extremely responsive and met us right on time at the airport. Highly recommended!

The Tesla was awesome!! I took the girls out for a bachelorette party in wine country and there were plenty of charging stations! We flew in from Florida to San Francisco and getting the car was easy. The car was very clean and easy to use even for a first time Tesla user. Drop off was just as simple! Thank you Min!!!

I 100% recommend renting this Tesla if you’re in the San Francisco area. Daniel had everything set up for us and was quick to respond to any questions we may have had. The car itself was clean and had plenty of space for the group of 4 of us.

Clean car, excellent condition, super easy rental process!

Cory is very nice, accommodating and easy to work with. We communicated via TURO messaging, text messages and phone well, and Cory always replied promptly. Pick-up/drop-off at San Francisco airport is very convenient for travelers. The vehicle is a very new 2021 TESLA Model Y. I was told that it was delivered just three weeks ago before I rented it. It only had 16XX miles when I picked up the car. I rented it for five days on the Thanksgiving weekend mainly for a long trip from the Bay Area to L.A. and back. I always wanted to get extended driving experiences with a TESLA, and I enjoyed this trip and driving this Model Y tremendously. The Model Y is an E-car SUV but it drives and handles like a supercar, in particular with the 21-inch rims and very low-profile tires on this Model Y. The power and acceleration are always there whenever needed. It's also very easy and safe to drive with all the sensors/cameras and safety features. I hardly used the brakes on my entire trip because the car brakes automatically as soon as the acceleration pedal is released. The console screen looks a little complicated and intimidating at first glance, but actually it's pretty easy to operate after doing a little study and watching short tutorial videos. And voice commands are always there. I want to share my experience with charging this vehicle: First of all, you need to understand there are three types of TESLA superchargers: v1, v2 and V3. In general, V2 and V3 superchargers are 3-4 times faster than V1 chargers, so whenever possible use V2 and/or V3 superchargers. Although TESLA says basically all superchargers are billed for each kWh of electricity used, in reality V1 chargers in urban area cost more or a lot more than V3 chargers in rural area. A lot of superchargers in urban area are still V1 chargers, but there are also quite a few free V2/V3 chargers in rural area. Also, in general in CA, nighttime charging fees (7PM-10AM) are 50% off daytime (10AM-7PM) charging fees. And in some areas nighttime charging is completely free. TESLA navigation map has information on the type of superchargers as well as the charging fees for each supercharger station. Just click on the supercharger station location on the map to see the details. The charging cost for my 1129-mile trip is ~$75, which includes the $25 EV recharge fee I paid in advance. It's very close to the 100miles/gal equivalent gas mileage TESLA advertised. The charging range for this model Y is limited to 300 miles per full charge. But in reality, with a V2/V3 supercharger, it can add 160-180 miles in a 15-20 minutes' charge and that's usually all you need to continue your trip before another 15-20 minutes' charge is needed. If you're planning for a long trip, use TESLA's navigation map to plan for the trip and it will show where you need to stop for a supercharger along the way. Although it's convenient to use the TESLA on-board navigation map to plan for a trip and for supercharger locations, don't trust it entirely for supercharger locations--I learned this the hard way: On my way back from LA, Tesla brought me to a supercharger station that's not in operation in Santa Maria, and I couldn't find a nearby supercharger station from Tesla's navigation map for the < 30 miles left on the battery. It turned out that the supercharger station in Santa Maria was newly built but not yet open to the public. Luckily, I was able to find a destination charger in a hotel's parking lot 5 miles away and use Google Map to find a supercharger station ~25 miles away from there. (Also, Google Map did not show any supercharger in Santa Maria.) So, I drove to the hotel and used the destination charger to add ~15 miles for a total of ~43 miles on the battery, and then it's safe to drive to the supercharger 25 miles away. So, this lesson tells me that Google Map has more accurate info. on superchargers than Tesla itself. Better double-check with Google Map for insurance. One more thing to be aware of is if you're like me who likes to press the acceleration pedal hard, you should take 15-20% off the TESLA-estimated mileage left on battery. Again, it has been a very pleasant and enjoyable experience both driving this Tesla Model Y and doing business with Cory. For sure I will rent it again in the future when I need it (before getting a Tesla of my own).

Perfect Turo experience. John had the car parked/charging and ready for us at SFO early in the morning the day after Christmas. The car is super clean, everything in top shape. It was such a luxury to avoid the SFO rental center, and we saved a few bucks. Highly recommended.

This was my first Turo rental but will not be my last. The car was in great shape and was a lot of fun to drive. Daniel had everything arranged perfectly which made for a convenient pick up and return to valet lot near SFO. He also contacted me during the rental to help with with a problem that I inadvertently created with the car that caused it to limit the speed to 70. I highly recommend this car and Daniel if you are in the market for a nice Tesla in the San Francisco Bay area.

First time with Turo was amazing. The Tesla was awesome, Richie answered every question on the app quickly so we could plan our trip. We got into the airport after midnight. But Richie had the car waiting for us already. We used the app and didn't have to wait inline or talk to anyone. Just got to the car loaded it up and on our way. Probably will never rent from big companies again. Got a Tesla for the same price as a minivan. Best car rental experience for our family.

Ryan (and the Model Y) were incredible. I’m town visiting San Francisco and needed a car to get to San Jose and surrounding areas for the day and the Y felt just like our 3. Needed help with some questions about Turo and Ryan was always immediately available. Could not ask for anything better!

This was my first experience with Turo, and we had an exceptional time. Minh was really wonderful. My request was pretty last minute, and he accommodated me without any issue. The Model Y we drove was spotless, and our pickup/drop off location was very convenient. I will definitely be using Minh again next time I’m in San Francisco. Thank you!

Daniel left the car for us in the Park 'N Fly, which is convenient from SFO. The shuttle picks up from the departure level, above Baggage Claim. Overall the car was in excellent condition and nice to drive. We had occasional issues with the 2nd row seats reporting that they were not properly latched, but otherwise no problems with the vehicle. It handles well, as expected from a Tesla, including when we had to dodge a Semi that decided to merge into our lane without warning at 65mph. Overall a great experience and I would definitely rent from Daniel again.

Daniel was great and responsive to all my questions. I’ve had friends use Turo but it was my first time and a practically perfect experience thanks to him. Test driving a Tesla isn’t comparable to actually living with it for a few days. The opportunity gave me a greater understanding of my own driving style/habits and what I want & enjoy most in driving. It’s a weird little thing, but I appreciated most that there was a puffs tissue box in the front console and quick app access. It gave me time to be leisurely with the learning curve. The only thing (which has nothing to do with Daniel) is that I got rushed at pickup and drop off of the car. So doing the precheck sign in through the turo app with multiple pictures slipped my mind. I highly suggest you don’t let them make you feel rushed to leave until you finish doing the pre & post check. If you’ll be in San Francisco, the best charging stations were the ones in presidio and a quick top off in Serramonte before returning it to the park n fly and our flight from SFO. I can’t wait to come back and rent this again ^.^ it really made our trip more fun & completely worth finding better places to park around the city.

What a fun, fast ride! Had a great time with Julio’s Model Y Performance for a full week and didn’t wanna go back to my gas car upon getting home. Julio was very communicative and helpful throughout the week and made it very easy for us to access his car at the airport, great guy, great car. I ordered a Tesla Model Y and is expected to come in a few months so trying out his car really confirms that I made the right purchase!

This is a very new Model Y - nicely featured and with great range. I only used it around town for a few days but there were no problems. Vivek is a great communicator - very responsive and accommodating. The car was a little low on charge when I picked it up but he readily accommodated me by allowing me to do a quick supercharging session. Good rental.
