If you’ve always wanted to try an electric car, this is your chance! Enjoy your trip while helping fight climate change, and enjoying a silent ride. My Leaf has 275km of range, seatbelts for 5 (although the middle rear is tight for adults), and generous hatchback space. Safety features to keep your mind at ease: adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic braking. If you’re feeling chilly the heated steering wheel and heated seats (for all seats) are fantastic. Tech: Apple CarPlay and Android Audio, navigation

Faqs

  • Will I have to charge the car?

Not unless you drive more than a full charge, or about 275km.

  • How do I charge the car?

    1. Find a charging station. I recommend using the PlugShare app to find a nearby charging station. The Leaf has cards that can connect to the Flo network and ChargePoint. 2. Hold down the third button on the key fob to open the charging door on the front of the car, underneath the Nissan logo. You’ll hear a ‘click’ as the latch releases. 3. Open the charging door, then release the correct latch. If you’re using a DC Level 3 fast charger that’s the left (larger, black latch). If you’re using a Level 2 charger, that’s the right (small, orange latch). 4. Plug in the connector. 5. Go hiking, sit on the beach, or eat dinner and return to the charger.
