Description

You deserve to treat yourself with a car from the future. Take a break from the pandemic, have fun, and cruise around in this beautiful 2019 Tesla Model 3 SR+ with White Interior and the Full-Self Driving* package included (a $10,600 upgrade). Navigate to your destination on Autopilot (now 9x safer on average than a human driver). It has instant acceleration, minimalist white interior, and a range of up to 386 km with full access to Tesla Superchargers (50% charge in 15-20 minutes) along the way for longer trips. Once reserved, you can pick up my Model 3 remotely and drop her off at anytime within your reserved time. Included Features: ***Spotify, Netflix, Caraoke, Twitch, YouTube, lots of awesome games, Voice Commands, and much more! - Fully electric (saving you the cost of gas + silent driving experience) - Navigate on Autopilot, Autopark - Traffic aware cruise control - Vegan Leather White Interior - Heated Seats - Heated Mirrors - Instant Torque - 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds - 8 x cameras & 12 Ultrasonic Sensors, front radar (will detect most objects with a 360 degree view within the centimetre) - Choose extra options to include unlimited kilometers, supercharging, and recharge at the end of trip so you don't have to worry about extra costs later. - 15" touchscreen (no pesky dials or knobs like other vehicles) - Wireless NOMAD Tesla Model 3 Phone Charging Dock (for 2 phones) - Voice control media - Panoramic Glass Roof - Front and rear trunk space offers more cargo storage than most cars - 18" Aero Wheels (increases range by 3-4%) - All-Weather Tesla Floor Mats - Michelin Ice Winter tires during winter months - Sentry Mode + Dashcam (honking horn saves footage for safety) - Tesla Easter Eggs (Romance Mode, Navigate on Mars, Play Games, Watch Movies, Camp Mode, Emissions Testing Mode, Santa Mode, Sketch Pad, Rainbow Road, and more) The Black Pearl is very easy to drive, and I'll happily go over the advanced features, including Navigate on Autopilot. Have fun with it, but be safe as it is still in Beta! Range Anxiety? Don’t panic! Always use the trip planner (navigate) which allows the car to automatically adjust range estimates to your driving style, weather conditions, and plans supercharger stops along your route. Looking forward to your arrival and hearing about your experience! See the link below for more information on Tesla features. https://www.tesla.com/sites/default/files/model_3_owners_manual_north_america_en.pdf *Disclaimer* dashcam/sentry mode is on and footage may be used in the event of damage or violation of terms of use. If you’re still reading this... Book it! You could always go for just another boring gas car (that doesn’t drive itself on the highway). Also you’ll have to pay about the same $$$ for gas. So just book my Tesla now. Do it. It’ll be awesome.

Parking details

Vehicle will be parked on Frater Ave. between Glebemount and Woodmount Avenue. Please return here as well. A ~10min walk from Coxwell or Woodbine Station. TTC Bus Route #62 (Mortimer) also stops at Mortimer and Glebemount. If full, please message me for alternative parking areas.

Guidelines

No smoking or vaping, in the car, or even prior to getting into the car (the smell from hands or clothes transfers to the car). This will amount to a $50 minimum fee. I have kids and they love this car, please don’t smoke in it. A plugged in Tesla is a happy Tesla. Even using the adapter in the trunk to plug into a normal outlet will get you ~20% overnight and it's so satisfying to not pay for gas. Bringing the car to less than 10% or over 90% is awful for battery longevity. Keep an eye on your range and navigate to your destination then the car will schedule supercharging stops along the way all by itself! It takes away any range anxiety. Driving an electric car is different but also way more fun than driving a gas car. Please do your research before driving my Tesla if you’ve never driven one before. Flooring the accelerator and getting above 400Wh/km is a lot of fun, but also reduces your range significantly. No pets allowed at any time. This will amount to a $150 cleaning fee in accordance with the Turo pet policy. https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203990560-Pet-policy

Faqs

  • I'm thinking of buying a Tesla, should I test it out here first?

Absolutely! I did myself, and to be honest, it's the only way to know for sure if you'll want this car. A 30-minute test drive is barely enough to get over the fear of driving such a nice car, let alone feel how much you like it. Also, I'm happy to talk about all of my experiences with it to help you make a decision on your own.

  • How do I charge this car?

This Tesla can be charged at any Tesla Supercharging station for a small fee (usually between $0.40-$0.50/min - Usually around $8 or $9 for an 80% charge in 20-30min) that will be added to your bill. The Navigation map shows the location of Superchargers (there are about 5 superchargers in Toronto). Many hotels and other destinations in Toronto offer free charging as well. You may also download the app “PlugShare” or "ChargePoint" to check out the details of public charging stations. The spare charging cable for regular outlet and the public charging station adapter is located in the rear trunk. Please be aware that Tesla recently implemented an idle fee charge to prevent Tesla owners from leaving Tesla at supercharging station after it is charged.

  • I have a question that is not answered here.

Please submit your booking and we can discuss your questions. If there is an issue that prevents you from being able to rent the car, we can cancel the reservation without penalties 24 hours before the booking.

  • Do I have to return the car clean?

Unless you're renting the car for more than 3 days, I expect the car to be returned as clean as it was given to you. There will be a microfiber cloth in the trunk to help as well. Touchless car wash only. For longer rentals, you may return the car with normal amounts of exterior road dirt and interior dirt, but if the car is returned in an excessively dirty condition that requires special cleaning, you will be billed the actual cost to clean it.

  • Do I have to return the car charged?

Please return with at least a 60% charge as a courtesy to the next Turo user. You can return it above 60% for no fee. Between 20% & 60% is a $25 fee. Below 20% is a $40 fee. You may also purchase pre-paid charging for $20 instead if you don't have the time to charge. Please try to keep the car between 10%-90% for the majority of your trip to preserve the integrity of the battery in accordance with the owner's manual.

  • How do I return The Black Pearl after my trip and properly store the key fob?

When you return, simply drive The Black Pearl back to where you picked her up. Please store the Tesla Key Fob inside the bag in the Glove Box where you found it, do your checkout, and lock the car with your Turo app.

  • How do I pick up The Black Pearl from you?

Use Turo Go and unlock from the App for this trip. You can pick up The Black Pearl anytime during your reserved time. It will be the only Tesla Model 3 parked on the street. When you find The Black Pearl, just do your inspection, unlock it and you can find the Tesla key fob in the Glovebox (Push right wheel button, wait for prompt, and say "open glovebox" and it will open on command).

  • How do I pay for Supercharging?

Every time you supercharge, it gets billed directly to my Tesla account. I will tally it up at the end of your trip and request reimbursement (usually $5-$12 per supercharger session depending on how much energy is used).

  • Should I Supercharge to 100%?

No. Don’t supercharge to 100%! Not only does it take 20min to charge just from 90-100% (because of how lithium-ion batteries work), it’s not good for battery life. Also, it charges you per minute, so that extra 30km will cost you $5. Instead, use the trip planner (in-car navigation) to maximize your time on your trip. This will cut costs and time spent on supercharging and optimize your range.
