Description
The 2019 Nissan Leaf is a fully electric vehicle with 360km range. The electric motor is smooth, silent and surprisingly speedy. With a roomy trunk and seats that fully drop, the car is perfect for small moves and weekend trips. The GPS automatically shows all EV charging stations in the area, making it convenient to fuel up in a hurry. Additional perks: - We offer complimentary downtown parking. - We offer a complimentary Level 1 charger, in case of long overnight trips. This plugs into a regular outlet and can be used to charge up your vehicle from anywhere with access to power. -iPhone & Android charger provided as well as sanitizer/disinfectant bottle NO PETS PLEASE

Second rental with Tanushree. she is very responsive and a great host. The Leaf is a nice car and good alternative to renting expensive Teslas. I know when I rent an electric car I want more real world info on range, so here is my experience. Trip 1: 220km total, outdoor temp between 4C and -1, conservative driving, indoor heat set to 18. Range displayed started at 339km and dropped to 305 when the heat was turned on. Upon arrival, remaining range was at 84km 27% battery level. Trip 2: same trip reverse direction. Outdoor temp -5C to -2C. Strong headwind, wet roads. Same heat settings. Range displayed started at 355km and 348 with heat on. Stopped to charge after 110km, remaining range at 141km. Charged battery from 50-71%, range up to 206km, about 15min at chademo charger. Drove 110km home, 55km range remaining. 19% battery level. So keep in mind driving conditions have a big impact on range. Last note, I parked my bike inside the parking garage where I picked up the Leaf and when I returned the car I was sad to find that my bike tire was cut and I had to walk it home 7km. I thought it would be safe given the garage has security. Obviously this is not the hosts fault, but if you are biking to pick up the vehicle, please consider using bike share instead of your own bike.

Great car for a planned trip, must point out that is a official range of 168 miles WLTP standard. In my experience meaning: Well... Less Than Probable.
