How to change the gear position，from P to D ?
Please press down and hold the brake pedal frist, then move the gear follow the white line painted beside the gear. lt moves like a stairs or snake or polyline. There is no button on the gear, because the gear doesnt need to move in a straight line.
Can I rent this car for a road test because it has a dual brake?
Some examiners don't like you to drive a driving school vehicle without any driving instructor accompanied. So please disassemble the dual brake first or give the examiner other reasons than you rented this car. You can find the tools in the glove box.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
Initially, I had no issues using this new platform to book a car. I was simply looking for a reasonably priced rental for less than a day as a first-time tourist in Toronto with my family.
The Good: The host was upfront about the car’s condition an hour before pick-up. He informed me that the engine light was on but reassured me that "it was totally fine" and "safe for traveling." And, in a way, he was right. We did complete our trip without incident. However, I later realized I could have canceled the booking and requested a replacement due to safety concerns. Unfortunately, I wasn’t familiar with the platform's policies, and I was under time pressure due to our booked travel plans. My mistake.
The host had also refueled the car before the reservation, but it was only 3/4 full. When we returned the car, we found it difficult to refuel it to exactly 3/4. Wanting to be considerate, I chose to fill the tank completely. When we politely asked the host if he could refund us for the extra 1/4 tank of gas, he refused, stating that we were only required to refuel to 3/4, and that was that—no refund. His insincere "thank you" made us feel like we had been taken advantage of. It felt like he was using the platform’s policies in a way that cost us $18-$20. Later on we learnt that Turo's policy didn't support the extra refuel repayment. Shocker.
At first, we felt fortunate to have found a well-reviewed Turo host who could also communicate in our native language. However, we ended up feeling manipulated by someone who clearly knew how to exploit the Turo policies to his benefits, not to mention that he used a car with the engine lights on for reservation.
The Silver Lining: I reached out to Turo's customer service, and they provided the necessary assistance. I appreciate that Turo values its customers, even if the host didn’t.
Lessons Learned: You can always request a cancellation and replacement through the platform if there are any safety concerns with the car. Also, be cautious about how much gas is in the tank when you pick up the car, as refueling to a specific level (when it's not full) can be tricky.
