The Altima sedan and coupe use a 2.5-litre four cylinder engine or 3.5-litre V6. On both models, the 2.5-litre uses a six-speed manual transmission, or optional CVT. On the sedan, the V6 comes solely with the CVT; on the coupe, it comes with six-speed manual or optional CVT. The Hybrid uses the 2.5-lite four-cylinder and CVT with hybrid electric system. It is a full hybrid and capable of running on its battery alone. Features on the 2.5 S sedan include 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, automatic headlamps, heated mirrors, front and rear splash guards, tire pressure monitoring system, Intelligent Key with pushbutton ignition, auto up/down driver’s window, cruise control, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, speed-sensitive variable intermittent wipers, cloth seats, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, CD stereo with auxiliary input, and anti-theft alarm.
