Please park the vehicle in any of the bays that are in front of Minigwal Park (a map will be sent out). This is where the vehicle will be parked for pickup.

• How do I park and apply the parking brake ?

  At the end of your journey, with your finger, push the P on the touchscreen on the top right hand side of the screen with your foot on the brake. The vehicle will make a chime and show that it is now in P. Remove the keycard from the center console and you can walk out of the vehicle. The car will automatically apply the parking brake.

• How do I open the Frunk ?

  On the vehicle main screen, you will see a 3D diagram of the vehicle with the frunk & trunk highlighted, if you just tap on the trunk it will open. Similarly, if you just tap the trunk, it will open. Please note that the trunk can be electrically opened and closed, but the frunk has to be physically closed after it has been opened.

• How do I lock/unlock the vehicle ?

  Tesla's are sold with keycards as the key fob, meaning that you cannot remotely press a button to lock/unlock or interact with the vehicle. To unlock the vehicle, you will need to place the Tesla keycard on the B pillar between the driver and passenger window below the camera (there is a small diagram on the back of the keycard). The vehicle will detect the key and unlock the vehicle. Similarly to lock, just place the card on the same spot and the vehicle will lock.

• How do I release the park brake & drive off ?

  Once inside the cabin, you will have to place the keycard right behind the cup holders (there is a sensor there and that is how the vehicle knows the keycard is in the vehicle for security). Put your foot on the brake and swipe the little car icon upwards at the right hand side of the touchscreen, on the top right hand corner of the display, you should see the vehicle go into D. If you release the brake, and slowly press the accelerator, the vehicle will automatically release the parking brake and begin to roll. Similarly if you want reverse, just swipe the little vehicle icon downwards with your foot on the brake.

• How do I charge at a Supercharger ?

  On the vehicles maps, search for your nearest supercharger or any supercharger of choice by clicking on the lightning bolt on the left-hand side of the maps menu. The red lightning bolts will be the official Tesla supercharger stations, and the greyed-out ones will be any other 3rd party EV chargers. Before heading to a supercharger, please make sure to always navigate there using the cars navigation system so that the vehicle knows it is going to be charged. This is important because it allows the vehicle to precondition and warm the battery up for a speedy charge. Once you arrive at the supercharger station, just pick a bay, park, and plug the vehicle in. The charge port is at the rear left-hand side of the vehicle so you will have to reverse park. To open the charge port, you can either tap the charge port with your hand, press the button on the charger's handle, or open it through the main screen inside the car. To release the charger you simply press the button on the charger's handle. Please make sure to keep an eye out for charge rates and times, supercharger bays are a shared network and therefore, you should remove the vehicle from the bay as soon as charging is complete. Failure to do so will result in additional fees that will be charged to you in addition to your booking fees. Your supercharger fees will be billed to you after your booking.
