Do you allow smoking or vaping?
No. This vehicle has been smoke-free as long as we've owned it and Turo policy does not permit smoking or vaping. If you need further clarification, please see the Turo non-smoking policy.
Do I need to wash the Jeep or clean the interior?
Per Turo policy, the vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when your rental started. As a convenience to you, I offer Post-trip cleaning as an extra for a fee and will perform the cleaning for you IF you select that option when you book the rental. If you buy Post-trip cleaning when you book, you won't have to worry about some dirt on the mats, crumbs in the cup holders, or typical road grime on the exterior, but please be aware that if a deep cleaning is needed due to sticky fluids or food spills, odors or damage due to prohibited activities including vaping, smoking, or pets, or exterior grime that can not be removed by an automated car wash, the additional cost will be billed to you in accordance with Turo policy.
Do I have to fill the gas tank?
I highly encourage you to do so in line with Turo guidelines, but to avoid the hassle of refueling before return, you can add the Prepaid re-fuel extra when you book and then return the vehicle with any amount of fuel. I will refund to you any amount you paid over the actual fuel cost plus a $15 convenience fee. For example, if you bring it back half full and the gas costs me $24 to bring it to full, your total cost will be $39 ($24 gas + $15 fee) and if you prepaid $75 I will refund the $36 overpaid.
Is the return time a firm time when I must return the Jeep?
Yes, you are expected to return the vehicle on time or request a modification to your Turo trip if your travel situation changes. I will do whatever I can to help you out and adjust to your schedule, but please be aware that I will not be happy if you do not check with me prior to a late return and leave me waiting for you to return the vehicle to the airport. Under that circumstance I will implement the Turo late return policy of $50 per hour. I do not want to do this, but you must realize that other travelers may be expecting this vehicle to be available and ready for their trip and I sometimes have a short period to accomplish that. I will be your friend for life if you return the vehicle on time or early and ready to go for the next traveler.
Can I tow a trailer?
No. The Turo rental agreement does not allow any Turo vehicles to be used in towing.
Can I take this Jeep off-road?
No, taking any Turo vehicle off paved roads violates the Turo rental agreement.
Can I pay for extra mileage, pickup and delivery, or fuel in cash?
No. In order to keep our Turo protection plan in force, all payments need to go through the Turo app per Turo policy.
Are others allowed to drive the rental?
Only those listed on the trip as drivers are allowed to drive per Turo policy. If you want to add drivers, please have them sign up for a Turo account and then add them to the trip. The primary driver and any other drivers must present valid drivers licenses when the vehicle is picked up.

Who is responsible to pay for tolls, parking tickets, and traffic fines incurred during my rental?
As the Turo Traveler, you are responsible for all tolls, tickets, fines, and any other charges you incur while driving the vehicle. Please be aware that in this region red lights, school zone speed limits, and tolls are enforced through cameras and are reported to the vehicle owner after a toll or infraction. After your rental I will submit any incurred charges through the Turo reimbursement process. Per Turo policy I am not allowed to accept cash for any trip-related charges.
