Description

Please be aware, my Model X does NOT have autopilot! The Tesla model X is, without a doubt, the closest thing to traveling in one's own private, luxury space ship. Certainly, the rear falcon-wing doors are a sight to see (as well as making it incredibly easy to access any of the five full seats in the back of the vehicle), but they are mere garnish on a technological dish of unbelievable power and versatility. With a Tesla, you can also take advantage of the fact that you will not have to visit any gas stations. Charge quickly (45 minutes or less), and for free, at Tesla Super Chargers, to get over 200 miles of range. New, 2017 Deep Blue Metallic Model X - 90D (All-Wheel Drive) Gets you over 250mi range if charged to capacity. Options: 22" Carbon Turbine Wheels White Leather Seats Seven Seat Interior Supercharger Enabled Premium Upgrades Package Premium Dolby Surround Sound Smart Air Suspension Subzero Weather Package

Faqs

  • Where should I charge the Tesla?
The simplest thing to do is to use the built in GPS to search for the closest super charger. Not only are they free, but you can get close to a full battery, from empty, in about 45 minutes. The most important thing is to plan your trips carefully, noting where to stop along the way if the trip is longer than 200 miles. If you use the built in GPS, the car will plan the route for you, including charge stops.
  • What is regenerative breaking?
This is a system built into the engine of the Tesla that allows it to use deceleration to add some charge back to the battery. The most important thing to note about this system is the way it will affect what would be coasting in other vehicles. The regenerative breaking is fairly strong, meaning that unless you maintain light pressure on the accelerator, the car will slow down quite quickly, even if you don't press on the brakes! Accelerating and decelerating are different in a Tesla, and you should take a few minutes to get used them.

Stephen was very helpful explaining most common tesla quirks. Check in/out was easy. Car is in excellent condition and even though its not P model accelerates like crazy.

We rented Stephen's Model X for our trip to Napa. The vehicle was clean and drove great,, and Stephen was very helpful throughout the rental process.

Had an amazing weekend with the car and Stephen was an excellent host! He was kind enough to give me a tutorial and tips for improving the experience. He also offered to ride me back to my place after the trip. Appreciate the help and had a great time!

Stephen not only has a terrific, clean car, he also took the personal time to provide an overview for a first time Tesla-driver. A+ for service and what an easy, issue free experience.
