Meet Charlee. She is a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 Eco Diesel. Leather interior. Sunroof. Loaded Limited trim level. Great for camping, skiing, or whatever your adventure. Clean, powerful 34MPG highway 29mpg combined Turbo V6 Eco Deisel that gets up to 700 miles per tank. Super clean and environmentally friendly. (I use biomass diesel from Propel fueling stations when I can.)
Charlee is currently wearing All season M+S tires suitable or snow. Off-roading is not allowed. Do not use tire cable/chains. You do not need them and they can damage the all wheel drive system. November through April she wears aggressive tread All-Terrain (AT) proper mud and snow tires for extra grip in snow.
Important: Charlee takes DIESEL FUEL ONLY. Either renewable diesel or standard diesel #2. Diesel HPR (High Performance Renewable) is a clean biomass sourced fuel which uses no oil. It's available from a number of Propel Fuel, 76, and Shell stations scattered around California, though normal diesel works fine too and you can fill up with regular #2 diesel and any station that sells diesel. Both fuels work.
Ski/snowboard (fatcat 6) and single roof bike rack available upon request for $5/day ea.
Rear hitch motorcycle carrier 500max lbs available for $10/day.
I am usually available to pick you up curbside at the airport. Just send me your flight details and text me when you land. If I am unable to meet you, then plan B is for you to pick-up the car from the economy lot. (Up to $10 parking fee may apply). If picking up or dropping off at my house, (7740 Watt Ave, Antelope) 15 minutes from the airport, please contact me via text or call.
Please pay cash at bridge tolls. If for some reason you cant, the cars license plates are registered with Fastrack. Just let me know and you can pay me cash or I can request reimbursement later through the Turo app.
The car has a FasTrak Flex Pass which allows for you to use the new 680, 580, 880, or SR237 toll roads as well as a number of toll roads in southern California. Place the Flex Pass (It's on the windshield) switch on the number of occupants in the car 1, 2 or 3+, and notify me so I can check the tolls at the end of your trip.
This vehicle has a DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) tank. This is urea and water and is part of the emissions system. If you get a notice that it is low, you will need add some or eventually the car will not start. You will get a 500 mile warning. It goes in next to the fuel cap. You can get it at most gas stations, auto parts stores, Walmart etc. It comes in plastic jugs. One tank can last 10,000 miles and I try to keep it full so it is unlikely you will encounter a low DEF warning.
Please no smoking (of anything) in OR NEAR the car. This has been a problem so I want to be absolutely clear. $250 cleaning fee may apply.
From Turo's Policy: All cars shall be returned in the same condition and level of cleanliness as when rented. If the car is dirty and you aren't able to clean it before returning, no problem, I can do it for a fee. Just let me know so that I have enough time to do clean it before the next rental
