Hello! My 2008 GMC Yukon is ready for your next trip to West Texas. It has a black leather interior and is equipped with AirRide for a smooth, enjoyable trip. Enjoy the sunroof on a nice day, or put on the DVD player for the kids (I have a convertible carseat, high back booster, and a seat bottom booster if you'll be toting along some kiddos!). Guidelines

No pets allowed in the vehicle, and no smoking. The vehicle is very clean and well maintained, so please treat it as your own vehicle and return it in the condition you received it with a full tank of gas. (There are two nearby gas stations for fill ups...Briarwood/Holiday Hill intersection and Loop 250/Wadley intersection) Also, the vehicle is equipped with 4 wheel drive, but I ask that you do not use it. You shouldn't need it for anything that Turo insurance would cover ;-) Thanks!

  • Does the Yukon have 3 rows of seating?
    Yes it does. Please let me know if you'd like to the 3rd row seats for your trip. At times, we take them out for extra storage space on trips.
  • Do you have carseats?
    Yes. We have a convertible (forward/back facing) carseat for 8-40 lbs, a high back (full seat) booster, and a small bottom seat booster available for you to use. If you will be needing any/all of these for your trip, please let me know and I'll have them installed for you when you pick up the vehicle.

The vehicle is older and has some issues. It was not what my family was expecting. The tire pressure alerts are always on, there is a constant whining noise, and when turning the vehicle scrapes against the axle. When we brought these issues to the attention of the owner he was extremely rude to my mother. We paid $40 for airport pick up & drop off but the owner refused to allow us to drop the vehicle at the airport since we brought up these issues. Instead he told us to leave the vehicle in a lot and “find a ride” to the airport at 6am in the morning. He messaged us an extremely belittling message mentioning he would not be dealing with us, but rather have Turo do so when all we were trying to do was make sure we were not penalized for the vehicles problems. After returning the vehicle in great condition, he then tried to bargain a good rating in return for giving us a good rating. He mentioned since we were first time Turo users we needed his good rating in order to rent in the future. We do not care about renting through Turo ever again after this experience, it is a better idea to go through Hertz & Enterprise. Christopher is NOT a friendly person at all. I read all the previous reviews and thought this would be a good fit but I was clearly wrong. Not sure if my race had anything to do with the disrespect and lack of customer service but this was an awful renting experience. We also brought this to Turo’s attention and have yet to hear back from Turo. Do not rent from Christopher. The vehicle is old and not well maintained, stay away.

Chris made my first Turo experience an absolute breeze. Not only was it the most convenient car rental experience I’ve ever experienced, it was the most personal. Chris is a great person providing a great service. I can probably count on one hand how many times I’ve rated an app/service/person but I couldn’t not share my experience with Chris and Turo because I wish for others to experience the service Chris and Turo provide.
