Clean, smooth and quiet SUV that is great for running errands or taking a road trip. The Explorer is very comfortable for a scenic drive through the Big Bend country and has plenty of ground clearance when you decide to explore the roads less traveled. It's also a great choice for a quick business trip in Midland & Odessa. With a high seating position, great visibility and a very tight turning radius you will quickly feel confident behind the wheel whether you are maneuvering into a tight parking space or passing a semi-truck on the highway.
The Explorer has Microsoft SYNC (hands free Bluetooth) that allows you to make phone calls and control your streaming music from the steering wheel controls. An auxiliary input jack is also available for a quick connection. The sunroof is perfect for our cool mornings and beautiful west Texas sunsets! It has a very intuitive reverse sensing system that lets you squeeze into those tight parking spaces. The two tone leather seats look great and the rear seat folds 60/40, or all the way down. Whether upright or folded you will find plenty of luggage space in the Explorer for luggage and strollers.
If you are an adventure seeker sledding down Monahans Sandhills, kayaking down the Rio Grande through Santa Elena Canyon, or carving powder at Ski Apache in Ruidoso, the Explorer has room for your gear. Skis fit in the back with one seat folded (still allowing 4 people to ride comfortably. Bikes fit easily in the back. I've had 3 kayaks on the roof rack too.
