NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND INSIDE OR ANYWHERE NEAR THE CAR! This is not just my rule but Turo's rule as well. Even leaving the car smelling like smoke will result in a fine. Thank you for your cooperation. Please return the car in the same, clean condition as was rented to you, as per Turo rules. For communicating with me, I greatly prefer using the Turo app, since I often coordinate with others in delivering or picking up the vehicle from you. I use SMS and voicemail only as backup communication. Therefore, prior to your trip, please ensure those channels configured properly, to ensure prompt delivery and hassle-free communication.

Faqs

  • TOLLS: What if I drive through a toll booth?
    No worries. The car will have my transponder installed. Four (4) days after the trip ends, I'll send you a report of each toll booth you drove through and how much the toll was. I will then request reimbursement from you at exactly the toll amount I am charged. Turo will charge you a 3% fee in addition.
  • TOLLS: Can I pay cash for tolls and not have to go through you or Turo?
    Yes, you absolutely can. But just bear in mind that paying cash actually ends up costing more in some instances (even after accounting for the 3% fee from Turo). Also, in an attempt to pay cash only, YOU MAY STILL BE CHARGED A TOLL, since not all toll points have actual booths. Due to modernization of the tolling infrastructure, many booths have been replaced with overhead scanners. By using my transponder, you get a discounted toll. I do believe transponder and reimbursement is the best option, considering cost, time, and convenience. I'm honestly not out to make money on your tolls!
  • TOLLS: Can I bring my own transponder?
    Yes, you are welcome to bring your own transponder as well. I have the 3M "hard" velcro on my windshield where you can mount your transponder. Just remember to take it with you after the trip ends to avoid shipping and handling fees.
  • AIRPORT DELIVERY: Picking up the car upon arriving to Boston
    We will meet you in person at the airport. Sending us your flight information as you book will greatly help us track any changes to your arrival time and know which terminal at which to meet you. We'll make every effort to meet you on time. If, however, you arrive before us, please send me a message on Turo with your door number. It will be something like A102, B106, C106, etc..
  • AIRPORT RETURNS: Dropping off the car upon leaving Boston
    If your trip ends before 9am or after 6pm, I will meet you in person! However, please note that if your trip ends from 9am-6pm, you MAY be asked to park at Central Parking instead of meeting me in person. By following terminal signs, there is usually ample parking which is an elevator and skybridge away from your desired terminal. If you have any concerns with that, please involve me in a discussion on how to make your trip more convenient. I'm happy to work out something that works for both of us.

Best Turo rental ever and I’ve been using this site for years. Jay was beyond accommodating, great with communication, and his car was decked out with all the little gadgets one needs on a road trip. I’ll be looking for his car specifically in the future.

Jay was flawless!! This was the easiest car rental process I’ve ever experienced. Jay was waiting for us curbside as soon as we got off of the plane. We asked a few simple questions about the car and shook hands and that was that. Car was clean, stocked with charging cords for several different phones, equipped with fast pass for easy highway travel and economical on gas. Upon returning Jay was flexible and punctual meeting us curbside at our departing flight terminal. We thanked him and shook hands. As simple as that! It was my first experience with Turo and I highly recommend this experience with Jay.
