Faqs

  • What is the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to pick up the 4Runner from the airport?
Lyft - Fastest and easiest option and during low-traffic hours, the fee is quite reasonable (~$40-50). Lyft is available in your phone app store and will take you right to the house. If you have large luggage, you can request a Lyft XL to get a ride from an SUV. Denver Light Rail to Union Station, then Lyft: The best bang for your money & time is to take the train to Union Station. You can grab a bite at Union Station before heading to the house (so many amazing restaurants) or take a Lyft right out front. Take the A Line - Westbound Train from DIA to Union Station, then you can Lyft from the Thirsty Lion pick-up spot in front of Union Station. Denver Light Rail to Lakewood-Wadsworth Street Station - The most cost-effective option is to jump on the W Line - Westbound Train and get off at Lakewood-Wadsworth Station. You will be within a few short miles, and can call a Lyft from there for just a few bucks.
  • Does car insurance cover Turo Rentals?
According to most insurance companies, Turo is not the same as a rental car. If you have insurance coverage that covers you for rentals, it may not cover you for borrowing a Turo car. Likewise, if you have insurance available for rental cars from your credit card company, it likely won’t apply to borrowing a car on Turo. f you are borrowing a Turo car, you still may be covered by your personal car insurance. Many private car insurance policies cover you to drive any vehicle. If this is the case, you will be covered to borrow any car. However, you must keep in mind that your coverage to drive someone else’s car is limited to the maximums you have set for your policy. If you borrow a car that is worth a lot more than your maximums, you might want to purchase additional coverage from Turo. Before borrowing a car from Turo, you should check with your car insurance company to see if you are covered and for how much. Whenever you are in doubt about your coverage it is important to ask directly. Your car insurance agent or their customer service department should be able to tell you if you are covered to borrow a car from Turo or not. https://www.insurancepanda.com/faq/does-my-car-insurance-cover-turo/
  • Does the car come with an Express Toll tag?
Yes, it has an Express Toll tag. As a Host, I will request reimbursement for the full amount of the discounted toll. So Travelers will still receive a discount of 20% when using the Express Toll, but a refund request will be submitted through Turo for reimbursement after you have returned the vehicle.

Car was great and a joy to drive and Natalie was a wonderful individual to rent from! Very nice, and she even helped me with a ride to the airport because the Uber app wasn’t working at the time! 5 stars!!!

Car was a prefect option for a trip to the mountains to ski! Ski rack on top made it easy to transport gear and with the all wheel drive we could drive through the snowy roads with ease. Also running late coming home and Natalie was so flexible in giving us a little extra time! I will rent from her again.

Great vehicle and communication! Only slight inconvenience was getting to pickup point from DIA. otherwise, great experience— we’ll rent from Natalie again.
