Description

Thank you for considering one of my All-Wheel-Drive Cadillac Escalade ESV for your trip to Colorado. It is my goal to help make your trip to Colorado the best it can be. As a host since September 2016 I have completed over 700 trips I am here to answer any and all questions you may have regarding your reservation. If you are a first-time user please make sure you are receiving notifications from the app as this will be our main source of communication. I look forward to meeting you when you arrive. <IMPORTANT POLICIES> *AGE RESTRICTIONS Turo may allow drivers under the age of 21 to book vehicles on the platform, unfortunately my insurance carrier does NOT allow anyone under the age of 21 to operate any of my vehicles. Please upload a picture of your valid drivers license. **INSURANCE** You are required to upload a photo of your active personal insurance policy. ***ADDITIONAL DRIVERS*** There is no additional charge for additional drivers. However, they MUST meet the following criteria: be approved by Turo, 21 years of age and older, upload a picture of their valid drivers license. Pictures can be uploaded to the "Trip Photos", please upload trip photos at your earliest possible convenience after booking. If you have difficulty uploading the pictures, please message me and I will help walk you through the process. <<NEW EXTRAS>> SAVE $15.00 when purchasing Pre-Paid Post Trip Cleaning for $25.00. I HIGHLY recommend using this extra, it will save you time and money when returning the Suburban at the end of your trip, especially if you are flying in/out of Denver or Colorado Springs airports. Now about my 2010 Escalade ESV AWD: Called the luxury king of SUVs, Cadillac’s full-size Escalade ESV has become the status symbol of choice for country clubbers and the urban cool affluent. This heavy full-frame truck-based SUV drives like a very large car. It’s no sport sedan, but it is more agile, sure-footed and Cadillac-comfortable than most any other full-size truck you’ll encounter. The 6.2-liter V8 idles aggressively at rest and roars impressively at full throttle as it surges the big Caddy forward with eye-opening authority. Remote Vehicle Start, this is one of those features that you may not want to live without once you’ve become used to it, especially in hot summer or cold winter weather. At the touch of a key-fob button from afar, it can start the engine and begin cooling or heating the cabin before you’re even inside. Heated Windshield Washer Fluid, forget frozen washer fluid with this long-overdue feature. What could be better than warming it before you need it to melt annoying and dangerous windshield ice. The 2010 Cadillac Escalade’s interior is luxury-car plush and surprisingly quiet, and raises the luxury and refinement bars another couple of notches. The instrument panel is set low and far forward to improve real and perceived room. It houses quad round gauges with white needles, blue-light inlays and white LED backlighting. "Nuance" leather covers the seats, doors, steering wheel and center console, while the interior pillars wear rich-looking fabric. The 2010 Escalade ESV looks powerful, purposeful and streamlined, not unlike a 1950s diesel locomotive. The largest and heaviest Escalade to date, Cadillac’s stylist have clever created a vehicle that appears somewhat smaller thanks to its sleek, tightly-wrapped new body. Stepping in requires the use of the side step rails for all but the tallest passengers, and reaching the roof-mounted luggage rack is best left to those with the longest arms. The swept-back 57-degree windshield contributes to a segment-best aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.36, which helps improve fuel economy and reduce wind noise, and careful detailing shows in its large, finely-crafted Cadillac signature grille, front fender vent ports and tasteful chrome accents. The 2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV’s comprehensive standard equipment begins with all-wheel drive, ultrasonic rear park assist, power liftgate and remote vehicle starting. Inside are leather-covered 14-way power heated front seats, heated fold-and-tumble second-row seats, three-passenger third-row seating, tri-zone automatic climate system, steering wheel radio controls, rear audio controls, power adjustable pedals, MP3/CD-changer, rear backup camera, Bose Surround Sound and rear-seat LCD monitor, XM Satellite Radio. Safety features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS), StabiliTrak stability control, advanced front air bags with passenger sensing, head-curtain side air bags for all three rows, rain-sensing wipers and heated washer fluid. With so much standard equipment, the ESV’s option list is not long, and includes 22-inch tires on chromed aluminum wheels, a power sliding sunroof, a Luxury Package - Blind-spot Alert, IntelliBeam headlamps, power center seat release, heated and cooled front seats and a heated steering wheel! Powering every 2010 Cadillac Escalade is a 6.2-liter V8 with Active Fuel Management, which deactivates half of the cylinders under light load. Variable valve timing (VVT), optimizes camshaft timing to improve low-rpm torque and high-rpm power, along with emissions and fuel economy. 6.2-liter V8 403 horsepower @ 5700 rpm 417 lb.-ft. of torque @ 4300 rpm If you have a 'out-of-the-ordinary' request, just ask and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. Extras (3)

Add optional Extras to your trip at checkout.
Luggage rack
Roof mounted Thule or Sport Rack cargo box. When mounted the Suburban cannot be taken through a car wash tunnel. Therefore, I would recommend adding pre-paid post trip cleaning to your trip.

Does not cover upholstery cleaning, spills, stains, pet hair, or smoke removal. If your trip starts and ends at the airport, this extra will save you the time and headache. Hand wash only with cargo box attached.
$25/trip
Prepaid refuel
Save time, make drop-off a breeze, and avoid additional fees by adding this Extra, which allows you to return my car at any fuel level. Price includes up to a full tank of gas.
$90/trip

Parking details

I may have parking available for your vehicle when picking up and returning to this location. We will confirm the details after booking.

Guidelines

Please no smoking (of any kind) in or adjacent to my Escalade. Should you partake in some Colorado candy, please be respectful that the smoke absorbed in your clothes and luggage will permeate into the carpet and leave a residual odor. At which point I will have no choice but to submit a smoking claim through Turo. Thank you for your cooperation.

Faqs

  • How does the toll tag work?
Colorado does not use toll booths, the toll tag on the Tahoe logs tolls automatically and deducts the charges from my prepaid account. Once I receive the toll statement I will process a request for reimbursement. Toll pass does not mean you receive free tolls.
  • How do I wash the Escalade with the cargo box?
The Suburban will not fit through a tunnel car wash it has to be washed by hand. I am happy to take care of washing and cleaning the Escalade to help you save time on your way to the airport, just add pre-paid post-trip cleaning. This also helps save you time on your drive down from the mountains. With or without the cargo box installed, pre-paid post-trip cleaning is HIGHLY recommended.

Will made it super easy! This was our first time using Turo and we enjoyed the ease of using this platform. Will was very good at communicating with us and was patient to explain how to use the app eventhough we were noobs. We will use Will again when we come back to Colorado.
