Any evidence of smoking in the vehicle may incur additional fees. Reminder: Off-roading is prohibited by Turo and any damage incurred in such activity will not be covered by Turo’s insurance.

  • How do I charge my smart phone or tablet?
    There is one factory USB port is located within the center console. It charges devices and it allows them to play audio. To charge more devices, there is a standard 12 volt car port between the heated seat switches and there is a 12 volt car port within the center console where you can add your own charging adapters.
  • What is the green ECON button for on the left side of the dash?
    The ECON button is designed to maximize fuel economy by slightly changing the performance of the car’s engine, transmission, cruise control, and the air conditioning system. Therefore, I recommend using the ECON mode within the city or flat highway driving for maximum fuel economy with minimal impact to the driving experience. However, if you are driving in the mountains, very hilly areas or in temperatures above 90 degrees Fahrenheit, I’d turn the ECON mode off. The indicator for the ECON mode is the green leaf located on the driver’s instrument cluster of the dash.
  • How do I keep the floorboards clean from snow, ice, and/or mud?
    This vehicle has front and rear floor liners installed. These protect the factory carpet from the snow, ice, and/or mud that you could track in. Allowing you to enjoy the many experiences of Colorado with peace of mind and easier cleanup.
  • How do I remove snow or ice from the car?
    There is a Snow Brush/Ice Scraper stored on the cargo tray. Please keep the Snow Brush/Ice Scraper on the cargo tray after your trip, so other renters have it available as well.

Upon returning the vehicle we were immediately slapped with unjustified claims from the owner, claiming there was damage to the vehicle. There is absolutely no new damage to the car. We were extremely careful driving it everywhere and even made it a point not to park it anywhere it could incur damage from other drivers. Not to mention, on the SECOND day of our trip the A13 service light came on indicating the car had 15% oil life as well as a need for transmission oil and tire rotation services. I want you to know we had actually planned to drive up to the hot springs and/or Rocky Mountain national park but were no longer able to do so at all on our trip because we were worried over overusing it due to the minimal oil life remaining and tire/transmission services necessary. I am starting to feel very unhappy with this experience. We treated the car with the utmost care and in return we received a vehicle that was only minimally driveable and now are getting slapped with all of these unjustified “claims” from Barry, who we never even met. On top of it there wasn’t even a turo attendant/valet when we dropped off the car, so we never even met the person who checked the car in once it was dropped off. We do not have ANY photos of the vehicle because Barry specifically told us this was not necessary. I did notice in the return photos uploaded by a turo valet/attendant that the service light was not even on in the car, leading me to believe that the photos uploaded of the car are not even from today. It was DEFINITELY on when we dropped the car off. We paid a large amount of money to rent this car that was barely driveable, and despite this we let it slide and were very kind to Barry. In return he is now scamming us for all sorts of extra fees. We will NOT be renting with Turo ever again, considering this is the type of customer service they apparently provide.
