Brand new trailhawk 4x4 fully loaded V6
The Trailhawk trim level, the most off-road oriented of the lineup, comes with an even more complex version of this system with a locking rear axle. Lesser trim levels offer a more conventional, less capable all-wheel-drive system called Active Drive I. Front-wheel drive is standard on all versions of the Cherokee other than the Trailhawk, which has standard all-wheel drive.
All V-6 models come with a start/stop system, which shuts down the engine when you come to a stop. It operates relatively smoothly, but it’s still noticeable—the best systems of this type are imperceptible. A button on the center stack disables the feature.
