Marin is the consummate Turo professional, and his amazing car is quite simply the best value for money on Turo!!! You'd never know it was a 2011 model year Porsche Cayenne because the interior is spotless and looks and smells brand new, despite the reasonable mileage on the car. The exterior looks great as well, and Marin took photos of the entire car and uploaded them to Turo just before I picked up the car.
Despite my running late (by an hour), Marin waited and patiently took the time to explain some things about the car and the Turo app to me and my son, and the entire experience (my first rental on Turo after a different renter cancelled on me) was just perfect. The Porsche itself is a must for spirited drivers, and I'm seriously considering buying one after having driven it for 2 days.
Marin had several different music CDs in the 6-disc changer, as well as several interesting magazines in the seat backs. The Porsche itself was amazing - the 8-speed auto transmission purred and we got over 20 mpg despite driving it quickly (in Sport mode) on several occasions (I mean, it is a Porsche after all!). Great legroom in the front and back seats, as well as good storage in the spacious back for luggage. Awesome AC, great navigation, fabulous comfy ride - I could go on - just rent it and you will be amazed.
Finally, I opted to return the car late on a Sunday instead of at 2pm on Monday (so as to avoid lunch traffic), and although he wasn't there, Marin made arrangements quickly and efficiently to accommodate my request.
The only slight drawback was the lack of overnight visitor parking in Marin's apartment complex, but I believe that there is free non-permit parking on Bren Mar Drive off Hershey Lane (although I drove down General Washington Drive and parked of the street, towards the back, near Busso Music, as there were numerous other cars left there and no tow warnings, so I figured I would not be towed - note: it's about a 10-min walk from where Marin was if you walk via the shortcut between Bren Mar Drive and Bismach Drive).
