A Luxury car with seating for 8. This EX-L with Rear Entertainment System (RES) sports all the bells and whistles an adventurous family might need. The windows are tinted all-around to shield you from Arizona's ever-present sun and the RES with wireless headphones will keep the kids occupied while you plot your next stop. The XM satellite radio will ensure you always have tunes no matter how far you venture into the countryside. The dash includes a cooling compartment for your drinks. The WeatherTech floorliner protects our carpets AND protects you from accidental spills that could result in costly cleaning fees. Please note that this is not a fleet vehicle but our private car and we trust you'll take care of it as such. ;) Please refer to "Delivery Details" below for Airport pickup/return procedure. Guidelines

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES AND REMINDERS: -Please no pets or smoking in this vehicle, thank you -As the renter you are expected to return the vehicle clean, re-fueled, and free of litter. You can pre-purchase a post trip cleaning at the time of reservation to take care of a basic cleaning. If the vehicle needs significant cleaning or detailing due to excessive dirt, carpet stains or odors, cleaning fees may be added after your trip ranging from a standard wash up to $250 for stain/odor/smoke/pet treatment. -You have responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicle accessories. -Late returns may be subject to late fees per Turo policy at a rate of $50 an hour. -Please keep an eye on your allotted trip mileage, there's a surcharge for each mile over the limit. For more details, visit Turo's policy page. As an alternative you have the option to pre-purchase unlimited miles. -You are responsible for all traffic violations during your rental period and will be identified as the driver to the applicable traffic court if we receive a violation after your trip. -You are responsible for damage done to the vehicle during your trip; please familiarize yourself with your liability and coverage. You are encouraged to document the car's condition at the start of the rental period using the Turo app and the check-in form.

Faqs

  • What do we need to consider when returning the car?
    Just return it to us clean and refueled please, thanks! If you purchased post-trip cleaning, you won't have to worry about a regular wash, but If you return it with stains or odors, additional cleaning charges can be added after your for stain/odor/smoke/pet treatment. Use the condition you receive the vehicle in as a guide for how it should be returned. If you forgot to fuel up, no big deal, we can add a refuel charge to your bill.
  • What if we need more than the included miles?
    It's no problem if you go over, just be aware of the surcharge per mile added to your final trip cost. If you purchase "unlimited miles" at reservation, you won't have to worry about going over your trip's included miles.
  • Do you deliver the car or do we pick it up at your location?
    That's something that you specify when booking the car. Please note that there is a delivery fee for trips under 5 days and if you don't opt for delivery, you are responsible for your own transportation to and from our location.
  • What happens if I get a traffic ticket?
    You are responsible for all tolls, traffic violations and parking tickets while driving and you will be identified as the driver to the applicable traffic court or police department when we receive a fine.
  • Can someone else pick up the car for me?
    Unfortunately, no. The person making the reservation has to be there to be properly identified as the primary driver using their drivers license.
  • What happens if we return the vehicle late?
    Per Turo policy there is a $50 per hour late charge up to $200 in total. If you arrive 15 minutes or more past the hour, you are responsible for the entire hour's late fee.
  • What if I damage your vehicle?
    Accidents happen and that's why we have insurance. In the event of damage to our vehicle, I file a report with Turo within 24 hours of the trip ending. I then obtain a repair quote within a few days that you can either handle with me directly or have your insurance provider resolve on your behalf. If you do not address the issue within 15 days, I hand over the claims process to Turo and will no longer be directly involved.

Tiemen was a super cool guy. We really enjoyed chatting with him. He was extremely prompt with pickup and return. He even gave us the winning restaurant recommendation of the trip. The van was in great condition given its mileage. We used it to carry bikes around, and it was absolutely perfect for that. Tiemen was very understanding when a malicious Mesquite tree at our AirBnB dropped sap all over the van. The only negative was that the tires on the van were loud. Brand new Michelin's, but loud. We would definitely rent Tieman's van again.
