Chris was responsive and helpful. Easy rental and the car drove well! Made for a comfortable trip to Sonoma.

My first time using Turo. All in all, it was an OK experience.

Car was so dirty you could barely see out of the windshield. Street parking for a car that big is pretty hard to come by in the city, which is a requirement to “return” his vehicle. Poor communication throughout the process, literally telling you the wrong thing to do.

Chris is super flexible and really accomodating for the renters

Claim Department TURO Carsharing company Dated: 25 of May 2019 Subject: Appeal claim to Turo regarding our payment for our recent trip. Respected Sir, This email is in regards to the reimbursement fee we were obligated to compensate for our recent trip. The reimbursement was decided by the host himself in which he claims that there was a toll fee because we parked in the wrong area, however we did exactly as what were told to do: which was to park in the C Permit Area of San Francisco. We also ensured if we were parking in the same area many times by texting pictures and calling him. When we parked in our first destination, we called him to make sure if it was the right place to park and he told us that we couldn’t park there so we moved to the preferred area that he wanted us to park. After finding a good parking spot, we texted him to make sure again if we parked in the right zone. We sent him pictures of where we parked as well as the C Permit sign on the street. He texted us back with a confirmation so we ended up parking at the spot. I checked my Turo account today and noticed an unreasonable amount of reimbursement fee that I was charged. This is an unacceptable and irresponsible behavior he has taken upon us even after we have shown sympathy to the host by making sure repeatedly if we were parked in the right area assuming that if we weren’t, the car would get towed and would be a reckless act on us. Aside from that, he wasn’t present when I picked up the car to welcome me, the gas was only half way full and also the backseats were disassembled so me and my son had to fix it before we started driving. We thought the problem ended there, however the next day, once we started hitting the road and started raining, we came upon another problem, which was the damaged wiper. Every time I used the wiper it would make an unpleasant sound: the wiper scratching against the windshield which was extremely disturbing during my long drive. Even after all of these issues, I have not claimed one thing about his unprofessional service or the car. I should rather be in the position of filing a reimbursement of the Trip fee because of the lack of service that the host has given us and the car issues we had to endure during our family trip, however I can tolerate it. I would like this issue to be solved immediately and would like a reimbursement of the toll fee we had to compensate, that is all I'm asking. I will never rent a car from Chris Neeley and hopefully he will learn from this experience to not treat his other customers like he did to us. Pictures below are the messages we sent him to confirm our parking
